How to move header area down to make space for background image to appear?(Question)

Hello, I Managed to figure out the transparent background by selecting (Design Control-Site Design Mode-Full Width Design framework). This shows the background as it makes the various areas transparent. I am having difficulty moving the "post area" "search area"...lower in order to show the background without anything overlapping it. Any tips. Thanks a million. Cheers, Zack

Can you post a link, I don't quite understand what you're asking when you say post area and search area lower in order to show the background ?

It will probably end up being a margin that you have to add to the top of #page-canvas. But, @dannyh is correct: posting a link would be helpful
