Create pages which contain posts

Is there a way to create pages whereby posts that appear on the homepage can also appear through the pages. I want to create pages that are customized to the topic (i.e., politics, sports, etc.), with the post originally appearing on the homepage, but also appears on the relevant topic page. Is this possible, and how can the relevant topic pages appear unique (have different templates per page)?

I got a similar question, I want to have the homepage as a feature page without posts but the post page on a extra page. I actually thought I can manage this through page attributes but there I can only choose the default template... I would be really happy if somebody can help as I can't find a solution for this in the PageLines docs site either...

@Leskah, I answered your question I hope on your forum post asking this question. @DownTheLines, So what your asking if I understood you correctly is that, your want to display the latest posts from your categories politics, sports ect... on the homepage?
