Soapbox spanning entire content area - possible?

Hi all, What I'd like to do is have one box or soapbox that spans across the entire width of my single posts page at the bottom. No matter what I do, the soapbox always stays in a column. What I'd like to do is have a different box spanning the bottom of category pages. I can't use callout, because it's not configurable. Can't use more-foot because it is in three columns. I don't want it in the footer.

Soapboxes and boxes are set in columns by default because they are intended to be shown in rows and columns, but CSS can be used to resize single soapboxes or boxes. Can you please post a link to a page where you'd like the box or soapbox to be displayed?
