Moving wordpress/pagelines to root directory - How to update upload links?

Hi Guys I have moved my wordpress/pagelines from a folder called "V3" to root directory. The problem is the all the images I have uploaded are missing. I discovered that if I updated manually a image link from www.example.com/v3/wp-content/uploads/image.png (old) to www.example.com/wp-content/uploads/image.png (without /V3), the image comes back. Is there a better way of doing this apart from manual work? Thanks. V?­tor
