Custom section / page template not working for blog page

Hi again, Another glitch... I created a custom section and a template page which i would like to apply to the blog page (blog redirected to a WP page). I set up the template page in the admin panel insering my custom section but it's not displayed. I guessed that it was due to the fact that the page is kind of Home. There it is http://13jumelles.fr/journal-de-bord (to access the page login as Visitor with pword : temp0811). Is there a workaround? Thx

How did you setup the template? Using the instructions in Base?

Yep... Set up three others which work fine... Only this one won't work : anything to do with the fact that the page is a redirection to the blog?

Hey Kate, do you need more info / an access to the back end? I really need to find an answer... The page template is set up with content area, custom section and pagelines boxes. The custom section allows to display an image (url is correct) so not a coding issue. It is the page to which the blog is redirected.

Does the section you made work on other pages?

Hi Kastelic... Yes and No. It's actually rather weird. I tested it on a page previously using another custom section (removed other custom section, added the one i wanted to test, from template setup). The result : both sections get displayed... with the one removed on top...

Have you tried deactivating plugins, especially caching plugins?

No caching plugin activated... But i'll try emptying google chrome cache, will get back to you...

Nope ... deactivated all plugins, emptied cache... Still both get displayed and the one i'm testing isn't displayed on the redirected blog page

HI catrina Thx for getting back to me. I've given up trying to figure out what went wrong and have found a way to not deal with the bugged custom section. I know it doesn't have much to do with my initial question but : the pagelines boxes section is not displayed on the blog page (redirected to static page) or the 404 page despite the fact that i've specified in platform pro admin a default set for 404 and blog pages, and despite the box set being also activated on the blog redirection static page. Do you want me to start a new discussion on this one?
