Are you uploading this image using the background image uploader? I think the picture should be at least 960px wide in order to fit correctly.

Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to.

I'm not familiar with what the background image uploader is? Is that in the edit post area under the feature slide settings next to the feature media image and background image? Or are you talking about a plugin or widget? If you are talking about the feature settings where I upload a background image.... then yes I am using the background image uploader within the feature settings. If my image isn't at least 960 px wide, is there a way to make it that wide without sacrificing image quality?

Looks like you want to go with 980 x 330 for your page. You need to use an image editing program to do this. Most digital cameras will take a picture at a higher resolution then this, so you shouldn't have to blow it up. But you can't blow up a smaller picture more than a few pixels without running into quality problems. Theres a Chrome and Firefox addon called Web Developer that you should try, it comes with a ruler tool that lets you measure elements on your web page.
