How do you make a page showing all posts with thumbnails

I'm wanting to make a page showing all posts with a thumbnail image and page title as the link to the posts page. Preferably, every time a post is added, a thumbnail is automatically added to the page. This is as far as I've got (not very far)... http://www.london-website-design.com/. But I don't want to display the date, editor, and it should have a thumbnail automatically as well. This is closer to what I'm wanting to achieve: http://www.london-website-design.com/showcase/ I also want to be able to set the number of posts automatically, so that 'Google' style you can click 2, 3, 4, 5 for subsequent pages of post results. Ultimately I'm wanting it to have the functionality of this: http://www.csselite.com/showcase

Hello, The pagination you want you could get by either modifying template.postloop.php, or by adding a plugin. For the thumbnail: I believe you'll have to use a plugin to assign it automatically. You can also accomplish this with PHP. Basically you would check for the first post attachment and then use that, if no feature image is selected.

Sorry to be dumb... but is there a key phrase I should be searching for for the plugin? I've tried searching for 'post gallery' and all sorts of other things, but I've not been successful as yet.
