Footer Sidebar (5-column) Post Error

Recommended Posts

I'm using PlatformPro's default 5-column footer sidebar. "The latest" post section only works properly on the blog page. There it shows the brief except as it should. On every other page, "the latest" displays the entire post, which elongates the footer to accommodate that one skinny column. Is there an option that corrects this? Thanks.

So, in order to get the link you requested, I transferred my site from my MAMP localhost to my online host and all the PageLines settings were lost. I've spent the last two days rebuilding the site online with a fresh install of WP and PageLines. With the re-installation of both, the 5-column footer issue resolved itself. However, now some images show up and others don't. The paths are correct. The images were successfully uploaded. Most just show a broken image now, which is different from all forum discussions I've found that only say all of their images are broken. Is this a WP or PageLines issue? Thanks http://www.danielgardina.com/blog/

Or is the complication from WP and PL working together?

Just PlatformPro on MAMP. Same with WordPress.

I also deactivated all plug-ins to see if one of those was causing the broken image problem. Images were still broken even with zero plug-ins. Hope that helps your diagnosis. The odd part is that I can very rarely upload an image, like on this page: http://www.danielgardina.com/2011/07/google-the-new-facebook/ . Otherwise, no luck. I can't find any rhyme or reason.

Fixed it. There was a case-sensitive rewrite engine in my .htaccess file that was preventing image files with any capital letters in their names to be shown. However, I do hope PageLines fixes the awful error of losing all settings when transferring from MAMP to the host. Thank you.
