How to display post archives as content?

I want to display posts by category on separate pages within the content loop and underneath the carousel. I know how to display posts by category using menus - but that doesn't allow me to include page-specific text or the carousel.

This plugin might come in handy: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/category-shortcode-w-generator/ It allows you to generate shortcodes that could be placed in your separate pages to display posts from specific categories.

Perfect! Can you tell me how to style it to inherit the Pagelines theme? Or point me to a CSS example that would add space between posts, delete categories and put text to the right of the thumbnail? I really appreciate the tip on this. I've been looking for a long time.
