Adding adsense into main blog page under first post excerpt?

I know basic editing and am wondering if anyone knows where I can put my adsense code to put two medium box ads under in the main blog page under the 1st post. Example Picture Below: I want the ads in between the 1st and 2nd post under the tags of the 1st post. If anyone can point me to the right file to edit it would be greatly appreciated.
