Eco Theme Showing only excerpts?

Recommended Posts

I am trying out the Eco theme thinking about purchasing the pro version but I'm curious about a few things. #1 - I guess by default, if I click on a category it shows all of the posts with the post content? I want it to show only the excerpts and then when you click on the link it takes you to the full post. It seems like there are settings in the eco admin for this..."Post Excerpt placement" and "Full Post Content Placement" but they don't seem to do anything? #2 - On the eco demo page there is a slideshow? Is this part of the theme? #3 - Is there a way to include featured posts on the home page? Thanks very much for any help!

Easy fix, but we'll probably need to handle special handling for the categories to the theme.

Yes, the pro version

Featured posts on the home page, meaning, is this theme setup to pull in sticky posts, or have some other way of displaying select post's thumbnails. Err, not sure if I am explaining this well. Basically, I just want the home page to be a slideshow of featured posts (like in the demo) and also have like 6 callouts below that with a title, thumbnail, excerpt of other selected posts. Last question, does this theme work in MU and if I purchase it am I allowed to let other bloggers who setup a blog on my site use it?

You will have the capabilities to do what you are asking. The theme hasn't been tested with Mu although we will be fully supporting WP 3.0 and the license covers multiple sites if owned by the same person.
