Branding text color

Recommended Posts

I am not using an image in my header, just the default text. How can I change the color and the font of the header / branding text?

Some css with a hex code instead of the xxx...you can place this in your themes custom code - custom css box h1.site-title {color:#xxx;}

I put that in like this:

	body {
	h1.site-title {color:#660000;}
	}

	this is all I have in my Custom CSS but the text is not changing? Something wrong with this code?

Needs to be body {} h1.site-title {color:#660000;}

The title is actually within an anchor tag inside the h1 tag:

h1.site-title a{color:#660000 !important;}

ok figured this much out, the overall custom css is not updating unless I activate the wordpress default theme, then revert back to the platform pro theme, strange work around but it does work. Permissions on dynamic.css are currently 777 so it should not be a permissions issue....
