Widget with latest blog and thumbnail

In the footer of this Pagelines page is a "Latest on the Blog" widget that has the thumbnail that goes with the blog post. Is this a widget that is available with this theme? Where do I go to download it? I'd like to use it. Thank you.

Also, is it possible for this widget to ONLY show the thumbnail and title, and not the introductory text. I envision using this widget on the sidebar for my front page, to add a bit more colors and pictures, but I like the clean layout as well: www.crenshawsubway.org/home
