Changing themes - do you lose settings?

I wanted to try out a new theme to see how my content looks in a different color scheme. I am currently using iBlogPro without Platform Pro in WP 3.2.1. If I activate another theme like Station Pro, will it destroy all of the settings I already setup in iBlogPro? What about if I activate another designer's theme - does iBlogPro retain all of its settings so if I want to go back it is all still there? Thanks

If you activate another theme, you won't lose your settings, because each theme has a different set of settings. It is the same when activating another designer's theme. You only lose your settings if you reset your settings to default or delete themes from your WordPress site.
