Specific widgets for specific page

Hi I love this plattform. The only down side I see so far is I can't have different widgets in different pages. For example: In a contact page I want to show in the side bar the last news, contacts and a map In a portfolio page I want to have a menu, short portfolio description In the about us, I want an other menu and. I just want to choose what sidebar configuration I want to show in each page. Is that possible in any way? Thanks

Yes, many options exist. I use the plugin widget locationizer or widget logic, it comes highly recommended from pagelines.
