Social icons linking from root URL?

I'm not sure when this started happening but the social links on my friend's website are now putting his URL in front of the actual destination link. The only CSS I've done to that particular part of the site is adjusting placement. When I view the page source and the links in Firebug they actually look correct. It's only when you hover can you see the URL is incorrect and then it takes you to a 404 page.

Was there any resolution to this? I'm having the same problem at www.daddydialogue.com.

Make sure you have a http:// at the beginning of the URL. You need the whole URL for it to work.
