Novice looking for guidance...

I'm working on a startup and decided to build the website using WordPress and iBlogPro. With that said, I have no html or CSS skills. Is it possible to configure the site with iBlogPro so that it looks like a business website rather than a blog? If so, could you point me to some tutorials on how? Thanks!

your wordpress site doesn't need to look like a blog, in fact it might not have a blog at all. there're plenty of tutorials online, just type "beginner's wordpress guide" in google and you'll have the instructions you need.

Where to begin ... One of the great things about the iBlogPro theme is its design which is specifically created for professional / business use rather than simple blogging, with countless variations for page layout and design. Just by going through the demo you should be able to see the many ways to display a page which looks decidedly not blog-like. http://www.pagelines.com/demos/iblogpro/ The guys here at Pagelines have been working pretty hard not just on the themes but on support, including video tutorials: http://www.pagelines.com/blog/ As for WordPress itself, the wealth of information available online is almost overwhelming. It has grown up to be a major player for Content Management Systems (CMS) way beyond blogging. A few moments on your favorite search engine should give you plenty to work with. Just a couple examples: http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Lessons http://www.wp-tutorials.org/ Good luck. I think you'll find friendly folks here who are happy to help.
