Feature Posts Problem

Recommended Posts

tmighell

Last question for me today - I was making changes to my Features, and now I get a message "No feature posts matched this pages criteria" when I go to the page. The settings are exactly what they were when I started - so I'm not sure why the features don't show. Any thoughts on what I should be checking? Thanks, Tom

What do you have set for PlatformPro Settings -> Feature Settings -> Feature Post Source?

Feature Post Source = Feature Posts (custom post type) Select Feature-Set = default-features I had tried setting up the Blog Category source, using a specific category from my blog, but I didn't like it - so I reverted to the original settings.

Just did that - disabled everything (I don't have a lot of plugins right now), and no change.

I did just go in and change the Feature Post Source back to "Use Post Category," and now my blog posts do show up in the Feature slider. But when I created a completely different Feature set and added some of the prebuilt examples, nothing shows up.

the actual features themselves have the default-features taxonomy?

Yes, they do. But I found out the problem. In addition to having to select the Feature Set on the main Settings page, you also have to select it for that individual Page. So All Pages --> Edit

--> Feature Slider Section. Settings are lurking everywhere....:-) Thanks! Tom
