Need to add stripslashes in php

Recommended Posts

Just wondering where I would add "stripslashes" in the theme? Our version of WP (2.9) is showing a slash before apostrophes in the page title, when it's pulling in the wp_title (see the page title here: http://blogs.usembassy.gov/kornbluh/). Not sure where/how I should add the stripslashes command in each theme to get rid of this. (this is not happening in our WP test upgrade to 3.1.x, but for now we're stuck running 2.9)

Why are you 'stuck' running an out of date version and possibly at risk of being hacked?

Because it's the U.S. government and we have to follow an exciting maze of policies and procedures in order to upgrade.

Right...you could do something like: `add_filter('wp_title', 'custom_strip_title');` `function custom_strip_title( $title ){` `return str_replace( "\", "", $title );` `}`
