create a sideways sub menu

I want to create a sub menu from the drop down menu bar. in other words, when i click on a drop down navigation bar, i want to have a sub menu sideways off the drop down. Thanks Mark

What do you mean by sideways? Do you want the dropdown menu to open in a different direction?

yes,so when i click on the drop down menu and i scroll down to a sub category, and put my mouse over it, there would be an additional sub menu and it would open up to its side in a vertical position. i hope this makes sense.

You can do this by making a custom menu in Appearance -> Menus. Once you create a menu set it as your "primary menu". You arrange the menu items via a drag-and-drop interface and you can drag a menu item slightly right to make it a sub-menu or sub-sub-menu item.

yes, i know this. What I mean to do is, have a sub sub menu. where the sub sub menu goes sideways first then drops down vertically. so for example, i have a sub menu category say "Home listings" then a sub menu of that going sideways of "Olney Homes"
