jbrouwer 5 Report post Posted June 29, 2011 Seems that the new update is not compatible with buddypress. I got the 404 error for all buddypress pages. When I activated another theme the buddypress pages appeared normally. Are there others with the same problem?
cmunns 16 Report post Posted June 29, 2011 Did you change your permalinks to something other than default?
jbrouwer 5 Report post Posted June 30, 2011 Yes. I already did. Followed the instruction video on your site to install Buddypress. Bp was (is) working with pp 1.5. I've swithched back to 1.5 and bp is working again.
Simon 248 Report post Posted June 30, 2011 did you use the buddypress themes plugin?
jbrouwer 5 Report post Posted July 1, 2011 Not sure what you mean. I've installed the bp template pack. Would it make a difference if I update using FTP instead of automatically?
jbrouwer 5 Report post Posted July 1, 2011 I updated using ftp and then it's running the bp compatability pack again and it works fine now. Maybe you have to take a look at the automatic update.
Simon 248 Report post Posted July 1, 2011 the template pack moves some files into your current themes folder, update the theme you have to re-run the plugin
