Main Menu Buttons are transparent when clicked

Recommended Posts

Hello all, I am working on a local install so I can't offer a link. When I click a button on the main menu it turns transparent and shows the background image. What css code should I use to define what the color would be? Is there a different option to achieve this? Thanks, Jim

My site is now online. Could someone give me hand as to what css I would need to input in order to remove the blue background of a clicked menu button? Thanks, Jim http://www.durhamdigs.ca/

ul#menu-main-menu li.current_page_item {background-color #YOURCOLOR;}

Replace YOURCOLOR with the color you want.

I just put that code in and it still shows the blue background. The blue shows for only 1 second until the new page is loaded. Would you have another suggestion?

I see what you mean. Do you have any other custom code right now? If so, can you paste it here?

If you look at your Design Control settings, is that blue that you see momentarily when clicking the menu item set in any of the hex code fields?

You nailed it. The "Page background color" was set to the same blue as my wallpaper image. I changed that setting and now all is fixed. Thanks again Catrina!
