I wish a could find a comprehensive user guide for questions as simple as mine.. Each time I am changing a little ridiculous small option, I am facing a new problem with no solution.. My question is the following: when I create a POST it always goes on the home page and not the page I would like it to be. I figured that I could change the "Permalink" and directs the post on the pages I wanted. However : 1- it did not work out at all. I changed the permalink but the post does not appear on the page and is still on the home page 2- Now I cannot modify anymore the permalink ! Before I had the "Edit" option and now i am left with "View Post" or "Get Shortlink". My question is the following : how to get the EDIT option back ? Thank you for your help Myriam

Hi Myriam, If you're on the list of posts, choose "Quick Edit". Do you see the field there to modify your permalink?

Hello Kate, When I click on "quick edit", I don't have the permalink showed. I have - 1st column : "Title" "Slug" "Date" "Password" - 2nd column : Categories - 3rd categories: "Post Tag" When I click on "Edit", on the top of the page right under the title, i have: "Permalink": http://xxxxxxx.com "Get Shortlink" (before I modify the shortlink on one post, just to test, I had the option to "Modify the Shortlink". But now this option is gone, and the shortlink of all posts are now all misdirected toward an adress I put on one post just to give it a try. Impossible to modify it anywhere even on new posts.)

You are the admin on the account correct? Also, what are you default/global permalink settings?
