Multiple articles on Main Content section of Feature page

Can you tell me how to put multiple articles/stories on the main content area of the main feature page ... is this where the use case is for boxes?

You either have to make that page your posts page by putting a feature section in the default page template, or use a custom loop via a hook or plugin.
