Secondary Nav not appearing on single blog pages

Recommended Posts

I am having the same issue as posted at http://www.pagelines.com/forum/topic/9407, and have tried enabling secondary nav in the footer. It works there, and on pages where I specify in the meta-data, but I want it to appear by default on the blog pages. Is there a way to do this?

Do have the secondary nav enabled in Header and Nav > Posts Page Secondary Navigation?

I do have secondary nav enabled. The work around is to enable the secondary nav in the meta of each post but that seems to be an unnecessary additional step. Any other ideas? What about turning off base and trying that way to try to isolate the issue that is affecting functionality? Or is the functionality to display the secondary nav on individual post pages built in at all?

The functionality to display secondary nav isn't built in. You can display it on all pages by enabling it in the settings and then hide it where you want by using section control in the post editor for each post.

Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to.

Wish it were true Catrina, but it doesn't work for me. Secondary nav IS enabled in settings but does NOT display on pages UNLESS specified in the meta settings for each post. Requires the extra step each time.

This seems to be a request that is popping up more and more. I started a thread a few days ago about the secondary navigation not appearing when you browse by categories. There is also another thread? I discovered after I started mine. Maybe the mods could group these three together and mark it for developer attention. If I'm correct we are all in search of the same solution.
