truezeta 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2010 Hi, I can't find this information in the forum. Could someone let me know how to change the color of the navigation bars from gray. I'm not referring to the background in theme. I am referring to the navigation color. I'm using iBlog Pro. Thanks in advance for your help!
cmunns 16 Report post Posted March 29, 2010 There is a very helpful video on how to use Firebug to change this sort of thing. Getting Started With Firebug Also, the nav is actually an image so to keep the gradient you'll have to edit the image itself
mindsovermedia 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2010 I edited the nav-red.png image to a different color of red. Uploaded it and it worked fine for 2 days. Now all of the sudden the nav bar is reverting to the original color and I can't get it to change back. I've uploaded the revised file several times to make sure it's in there. Something screwy going on here...
cmunns 16 Report post Posted March 30, 2010 What Theme (& version) are you running. Also, is there anyway to give us a live link to your site so we can check it out. If you changed the color of the .png file itself that behavior seems very odd.
justme 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2010 Just a thought - you've probably done this, but just in case ... I would guess the new image you created has a different file name - are you sure somehow the file path did not revert back to the original image? Is the original image still on the server along with the new one? And of course, the usual suspects - clear browser cache, try different browsers etc. I know this is basic stuff and you probably have done this but worth mentioning. Andrew 207 Report post Posted March 31, 2010 hmmm.... a live link might help us figure out what's going on. Have you tried using FireBug 'Inspect' to see what could be causing the issue?
