For upgrading, please refer to this documentation: http://www.pagelines.com/docs/upgrading'>http://www.pagelines.com/docs/upgrading For general help with how to use the theme, see here: http://www.pagelines.com/docs Since you're starting out, it would be help to experiment with the Settings and explore the demo (http://www.pagelines.com/demos/platformpro/) to see what you can accomplish.

Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to.

Catrina .. thx but I must be missing something. Did a download of PlatformPro .. was using PlatformPro Base. Cannot understand how to migrate to PlatformPro from the base. I'm a novice at this, so I'm sure I'm missing something pretty simple. I just want to be able to use the additional functionality of PlatformPro, and cannot seem to get there. I accessed the url you suggested "Upgrading Your Theme" but it does not seem to take me there. Any help appreciated. Chuck

Chuck, Platform Pro is the parent theme to Base. The way it works is that you would install Platform Pro and Platform Base. But then you only activate Base. Base then uses the Pro for functionality. Any changes or modifications you make to your site, you would do in the Base theme. When an update comes out, you simply upgrade platform Pro, which gives you all the features and core functionality. Thus, any and all changes you make in platform Base is not affected and you don't have to recreate those changes. That is the major benefit to using a child theme. Read the update documentation that catrina gave you and follow it. Now, if you have a website that has never run Platform Pro at all, then that is a different story. Hope that helps.
