Drop Down Menu Customization?

I was wondering if it is possible to replace the display from the dropdown menu from text to thumbnail+ text. Something similar to this website http://evolvingwisdom.com/(hover your mouse to the programs in the navigation) Im using platform pro as my current theme right now

You could do a very basic icon+text nav with a custom menu, although it's somewhat tedious. See here: http://www.pagelines.com/forum/topic/10192 To mimic evolvingwisdom's nav, you should probably look at the PageLines Pros for that. That would take quite a bit more advanced customization.

Hey tim your suggestion worked out perfectly. Just a followup question, is there any way to display the items dropping down sideways? instead of downward?

Hi Doc, It's possible, but it would require some custom CSS.
