Custom CSS to Center Feature text.

Recommended Posts

Hi all, Currently i use a single feature with "Text on Left" with the default overlay. I'd like to have my text centred which isn't an option (Only Left, Bottom or Right) I've found this piece of code: #feature_slider .text-right .fcontent{ float:right; } This specifically targets the "Text on Right" option so to cheat i decided to edit it. It works it i write: #feature_slider .text-right .fcontent{ float:left; } which will force that option to align the text to the left, but if i write: #feature_slider .text-right .fcontent{ float:center; } It won't center; and nothing changes? Any idea? Thanks you. Jack.

No such thing as float:center. Try something like:

float:left;
	margin-left:34%;

I usually center using this CSS applied to a DIV:

margin:0 auto;

This DIV will center inside a parent DIV element.
