Change homepage template

I can't for the life of me figure out how to change the template of the homepage to the feature slider with the content area and sidebar. I want my latest blog posts to come up underneath the slider on the homepage. I don't have Platform Pro--do I need that to do this?

PlatformPro allows you to drag and drop sections into the positions that you want. If you want to change the positions in EcoPro, CSS can be used to move things around.
