I can't seem to keep the page width that I set in the editor. I publish the changes, but the width stays at its original setting.

Hi to all, I've been busy learning basic CSS / HTML / Wordpress and Pagelines etc for only a couple of weeks so forgive me if these are simple questions. I have created a 'Home Page' using the 'Base Theme' and I'm at a basic level now where I'm adding simple CSS to change the look of my site. However, what I really want is a 'Header' and 'Footer' at the top of the page that fits the entire width of the page. For the background of the 'Header' & 'Footer' I wanted to use an image which will be created using P'shop (j-peg file). I'm going to be taking a look into this soon but I wanted to ask here first incase someone has any advice or tips in achieving this? I don't want to complicate things too much as it's a clients site I am working on so hopefully I can keep the coding simple until I'm more familular with editing/adding CSS. Thanks for any help on this. I have also mocked up a rough example that demonstrates what I mean in-case I am unclear? Kind regards, James W

We want that the tooltips are more width, enough to keep the phrase in one line. Hello-- I'd like my website to look like this: (see attached file) This is what it looks like now: http://peppersloughoutfitters.com/the-lodge/ I don't want the content to be all the way to the edge like that, BUT I do want the header to be full width like that. Is there a way to change the content width ONLY? Also, if you go to the main page: http://peppersloughoutfitters.com The background doesn't even appear. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Hi,I'm using letters to replace the content section. At the moment the post is centered but only takes up about 2/3 of avilable width. Is it possible to change the width so that the post will fill 100 % the available page width.

Morning I'd like to create a few global adjustments to the launch page container... Help I'd like to adjust just the container/body portion where text appears to the following: increase width to 850px decrease transparency/increase opaqueness To be clear, I just want to make adjustments to the container/body (not sure which or both) where the text appears. Hi I'm currently working on a site for a client and they would like me to align the drop down menus on the main nav bar with the main menu item. They would also like the width of the drop downs to be reduced a little too. Please could you point me in the right direction of where I need to head to edit the css? I want the carousel but only want it the width of the text content area. I can't see how to do it in the drag and drop area. Is this even possible?

Hi, I love the site layout feature which i can set the site width to my preference. 920px with 600 content and 320 sidebar. However, when I have some content on full width pages, 920px width makes it hard to read from left to right. I wonder how can I change the width for specific page templay, say "epsilon" (template #5)? I tried the following css but it doesn't work, it made the entire content align to the left of the browser. .epsilon { max-width: 700px; } Thanks in advance for helping out. Colin
