  1. Hi,   I am using Pagelines 2.4.1 and migrated my site last night live. The sidebar areas (Primary, Secondary, etc) are no longer able to be customized per a template.   When I change SB1 on any template it changes universially through out my site.   Website URL:  www.novarelibrary.com WordPress Version: WordPress 3.5.1. Plugins in Use: Broken Link Checker, Duplicator (what we used to move the site over), Easy Contact Forms and NextGen Gallery.  (Note - I removed Next Gen and tried to see if it fixed the issue and it did not :( ) Server/Host: HostGator Screenshots: Jing Video - https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B7-TbEK4D5B5N0R5SzdJaDBTdGs/edit?usp=sharing   Thank you for your help! 2. Hi Guys, This is bound to be so easy it's unbelievable, but it's got me stumped! I'm working on a layout for a client and I've got a three column layout: Main content | Sidebar 1 | Sidebar 2 What I need to do is add a little space (10px or so) between the two sidebars, but I just can't seem to find the way to do it. I've tried padding and margin on the sidebar div Id's. They have an effect, but not the right one. You can see the layout I have so far here: http://www.justinphnoble.com/nautech/ I need space between those two blue panels in the centre block. Please could someone point me in the right direction? Any help would be very gratefully appreciated. Many thanks Justin.
  3. Last week I added dutch translation to my PageLines setup as found in the documentation. Today I wanted to enable the tertiary sidebar on a page but instead of showing the widgets I added to it it kept telling me that there were no widgets selected. After researching the issue together with PL support we found that, oddly, the translation was causing this unexpected behaviour. So for me the temporary workaround is to just use the english version but obviously this is an issue somehow. Hope you guys can find and fix the issue. Thanks! Marijn
  4. I'm looking to make different sidebars for different pages. How do I customize the sidebar for each page.
  5. Hello! Guys, I've just found out that my site is not showing the sidebars in the right place of the page, they are showing bellow the post and the green page background i've added is not working, the Social icons are shown in the opposite side as well. If you open the site using Chrome or Mozilla there is no problem, the issue happens only with IE. The version i used for test was IE9. http://desenv.intesys.com.br Thanks in advanced.
  6. Hey Pageliners, We're relatively new to the Pagelines platform and gotta say, firstly, that we love it. It's reduced our production time dramatically and is money well spent - so thank you. Secondly, I personally am trying to wrap my head around the best way to implement many sidebars that are needed variably across many pages for our clients. The keyword here is that it needs to remain easy for management by the client in the future (our clients are not very technically savvy at times, so things like widget logic aren't always the best solution). Here's our scenario, I hope that you may have some "best practices" or general better insight than I do - We have 3 different template structures: internal pages (general template) home page (template 1) blog section We have approximately 5 different types of widgets that should show in different ways based on the page / section. contact cta (all pages except home page) newsletter signup (all pages except home page) upcoming events (blog / home page) latest blog posts (blog / home page) blog categories (blog) Now, we can manage this well enough (so it seems) using the universal sidebar (contact sidebar & newsletter signup), primary sidebar (latest posts, blog categories, upcoming events). However, without the ability to set sidebar control options (aka - setting universal sidebar in the sidebar for default page template, as compared to loading all of them due to the needs of the blog), we are finding the control of the sidebars on a template basis to be bulky. Does this make sense? Basically, to try and be more clear if I haven't already, we are looking for per-template sidebar control options (so you select "default template" and you can click on "page templates" > "sb1" and set the sidebars just for that template). Currently, you can only do that with the "content" area, not the sidebars. So, do you have any good workarounds and better management options that could be defaulted to within Pagelines? Should we just resort to advanced widget management plugins? Is this something that you or others could see value for having in Pagelines in the future? IDK, just spitballing here Cheers! Kyle
  7. Hi, I have Pagelines Pro, Jigoshop Plugin and Pagelines Jigoshop Plugin - all installed, activated and up-to-date. I cannot edit/alter the page template for my shop pages. regardles of which pagelines template I select, when I view the site my shop pages always are delared in the grey admin bar as 'Template:Product Archive' No template matching that name appears in my drag and drop section. If I try to to change template via edit page it will not update to the new template. Also, if I try to show/hide sidebars for the shop page, no changes take place I have spent hours trying to get this resolved - nothing seems to make a difference. I'd like to get this resolved as soon as possible, so would be grateful if you (pagelines) could advise as soo as possible. Many thanks, mark
  8. If you look at the old version of our website with PlatformPro (http://thewinesyndicate.ca) and the new version (http://thewinesyndicate.ca/ab/) with PageLines Framework, the spacing between the links in the sidebars is different. How can I adjust that in Pagelines to make it the same as in PlatformPro?
  9. Hi, I'm new here. I wonder how I can leave an empty an space between the main container and sidebars to show the background between them. I tried applying margins in sidebars (I'm using two sidebars on each side) but the first one goes down. this is my code: #sidebar1{ background: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.9); } #sidebar2{ background: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.9); } #column-main, .mcolumn{ background: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.9); width:90%; margin: 0 10px 0 10px;} thanks!
