  1. Hi :-)   I am trying to style the Primary Sidebar and the Secondary Sidebar differently. On the PS (left) I am looking for a way to change the line height, font and font-color in the Custom Menu Widget.    On the SB (right) I want to style the Text Widget to have the gradient background and the shadows. But the problem is that on some of the pages I need to use the Text Widget without the background in the PS.   I guess one way would to add the background in the html in the Text Widget - but I would like to make it easier for the client to change the text in the widget without being confronted with the html ;-)     The site I am working on: http://manometer.wpforalle.dk/plo-frederiksberg/ The clients demo-site: http://www.manometer.dk/job/PLOfrederiksberg/plo_login_nylaeger.html
  2. I was wondering if there is any documentation that I've somehow overlooked that explains the difference between the sidebar options (Primary, Secondary, Tertiary, Universal, Full Width, Content) I checked out this page (http://www.pagelines.com/docs/sidebars-widgets), but it doesn't seem to fully answer my question (what's the difference between the universal and full width sidebars, etc.) Also, how do we get a drop down on a secondary nav bar, is that an option? Site: [link removed] Thanks so much!
  3. My original post Hello All, I presently have a site that is laid out in a two column format (content on left, primary sidebar on right). On certain pages, I want to implement another sidebar making it a three column page. I want the content to appear between the two sidebars. Once I implement the secondary sidebar, my site appears as: primary sidebar, content, secondary sidebar. However, I want it to appear as: secondary sidebar, content, primary sidebar - meaning I always want the primary sidebar to remain on the right with the new (or special (or secondary) sidebar to appear to the left of the content. How do I best accomplish this? ------- From Catrina On those select pages where you want 3 columns, you'll need to select the left column, 2-sidebar layout in PageLines Meta Settings (in the page editor for those pages): http://support.pagel...meta-settings/. You can set up the sidebars and widgets accordingly in Drag & Drop and the Widgets screen. ------- My response which was incorrect Thank you Catrina. It worked like a charm. Please mark as closed/resolved. ------- My corrected repost Edit: Sorry Catrina. I spoke too soon. I simply dragged the Primary Sidebar to SB2 and the Secondary Sidebar to SB1 (in D & D) thinking that would solve my issue. Unfortunately, it didn't. I am sure you understand what I am trying to do. I am sure what you told me is likely the answer. Somehow, it went over my head. Again, I have the site setup pretty much as I want it. The bulk of the site is two columns with the content on the left and the Primary Sidebar on the right. On a few pages in the PageLines Meta Setup, I have chosen the 3 column option: SB, Content, SB. Presently (my original issue), when I view the site those pages with that I have setup as 3 column pages appear as: Primary Sidebar (on left) Content (in middle), and Secondary Sidebar (on right). I would like those pages where I want three columns to appear as Secondary Sidebar, Content, Primary Sidebar. As you can see, I want the Primary Sidebar to always remain on the right and on those pages where I want/need the additional Sidebar (3 column pages), I want to keep the Primary Sidebar on the right, the content in the middle, and the Secondary Sidebar to appear to the left of the content.

  5. LAYOUT

So. I have a text widget in the primary sidebar which is place in SB1 (sidebar 1). I want to move it to the right and give it a lot of breathing room between the main column and SB2. This is a mockup of what I am attempting to achieve: http://imgur.com/vSqdi (fig 1) This is the specific problem: http://imgur.com/UQH8K (fig 2) As you can see, the text, which will eventually be built to resemble the "Cheat Sheet" in figure 1, must be moved to the right. Do I work with the padding and margins in #1 The text widget itself #2 The sidebar widget, or #3 SB! Thank you.
  6. Hello, I would like to have my feature slider set at 636px wide, to allow the primary sidebar right next to it. Is there any way to do this? Please and thank you.
  7. HI I'm looking for a text widget that will display different chunks of text in the Primary sidebar on different pages. I have about 20 quotes and I want one displayed on each page in the sidebar. Sound pretty basic but I cant seem to find a way to do it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
  8. Hi I have a simple site with most pages using the same Template. I have formatted that template so that it has a sidebar on the left and content on the right. In the sidebar, I have a widget to show the top 3 posts. I also want a quickslider above it. When you look at the site, the sidebar is empty. audaciousgroup.com/dev I have checked the page setup on each page, I have added the images to the slider and made sure its not hidden. I have checked that the widget is populated with the Recent Posts. I have made sure the template has a left sidebar with Primary Sidebar in it. The quickslider is in the Wrap. What am I missing? Thanks, Ginny
