  1. Ok so this link: http://codex.wordpress.org/Creating_a_Static_Front_Page Shows me how to place posts.... Hopefully exerpts in a static page. But what if I want them to be category specific? How do I place a line somewhere defining the category? Thanks in advance
  2. Is it me or is there no way to display blog post on the frontpage? I know there is a blog page and you can change how the post display but is there a module to just pull the blog posts onto the front page?

  4. I would like to request a solution to the individual blog posts sidebar customization. I know that on each page you can customize the sidebars that show which is great. But when you click through to an individual blog post page, all of the sidebars show up and there is no way to hide any of them. Can someone please help? The pagelines developer chat said there was no solution right now. This feature would be extremely helpful for those who utilize multiple different sidebars. Thanks, Lemonstripe Team

Hi, I just want to modify the HTML structure of the blog post for put the thumbnail on the right of the page (at the same level like the title but not of the excerpt as it's possible with the Pagelines's option). I don't know how change the html ? Is it with a child theme or something else ? Thanks a lot FM
  6. this is the website I've been building: www.lilakatz.com how do I add the metabar after post, I mean after those pictures of every post? Posts are long so viewers are not finding the metabar to comment... in the blog page and posts page...
  7. Is there a way to select a two column layout for all single post views? So you'd see this: http://www.hartford.com/winterfest-in-bushnell-park/ Instead of this: http://www.hartford.com/foam-fingers-at-hockey-games , without me having to select it on each post as shown in the attached? I realize I can make them all that way, and then unselect it on certain pages; I'm just not sure how that will change the event listings.

    Hello! I have my site set up to show my most recent posts. I am using Magazine layout, but would like the first 3 posts to display the full text instead of the excerpts. I would still like to have the postclips/excerpts at the bottom. Is there anyway to do this? Thanks.

  10. Referencing Google Fonts

    I'm trying to insert a heading on a page and instead of useing the sitewide defaults for the H1, H2, etc selectors, I would like to insert an inline style referencing a different google font. I have installed the Pagelines googlefont plugin. I was under the assumption I just had to reference like this: <h4 style="font-family: 'Nothing You Could Do', cursive;">Your Health, Our Mission</h4> The site picks up the cursive, but doesn't get the correct Google font. What am I doing wrong?

  12. Hi. I'm developing a site for a client using the latest release of Pagelines and they'd like to have a post covering their latest issue of their magazine kept sticky on the front page. The sticky part is easy and working fine along with the rest of the site. What I can't figure out is how to display the full content of that post on the front page only and have the rest display as excerpts only. The front page as it stands now is here http://tamiyamodelmagazine.com/ I now need to get this post to show in full on the front page with its subscribe button etc so visitors are encouraged to subscribe etc. http://tamiyamodelmagazine.com/blog/2012/09/25/welcome-to-tamiya-model-magazine-international/ Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Hello I'd like to edit the theme file containing the post metabar to include some javascript, preferrably inside the loop.php (because need to use php to call permalink and post title for each post) but i couldn't find this file, would you please advice me which file to edit?   15. Hi there! I'm just trying to make what has to be an easy fix -- Under each individual post title I would like to delete the line "by author, on date, in category, etc). I simply don't want that line to show up on any of the posts. Have checked in all the places I feel like it should be .... Haven't been able to figure it out yet! Any help is greatly appreciated!   16. Hello, I have been trying for two days to figure out how to push the main content and comments below the sidebar content. The problem is, I've forced a div to extend into the sidebar via CSS so that it's full width. I've also changed the css on the comments section so that it extends full width. This usually isn't a problem except when there are long ads or short content, then the sidebar content covers up the footer div and the comments section. For an example, see here. I've also attached a screenshot. clear:both; doesn't work when placed on anything and everything. z-index also doesn't work. I've also tried forcing the lower divs to load last via javascript, but that didn't help either. Any suggestions? Pretty please? Thanks, Dan

  18. Hi - I'm trying to hide post titles, but only for specific posts, not all. For another theme I was using the CSS to do this was: #post-1126 h2 { display:none!important; } I tried this, but it didn't work in Pagelines. Can you tell me the proper CSS tweak for this to work? Thank you!
  19. Hello, I am wanting to remove the box outlined and shadow from all post feature thumbnails. I had worked out the CSS before the last Pagelines update - but now the CSS doesn't work. i have tried to use firebug, but I do not seem to be able to get it to work. Does anyone know the CSS outright? I have some Pagelines stock images on my site http://danielfinn.co.uk and the openning box is being used as a post feature thumbnail on my front page. Thanks!
  20. Hello, I am wanting to modify the default post feature image thumbnail. I would like them to have no border or shadow. I am unsure of the exact CSS to do this. Could somebody help me? The code outlined below succesfully changes the border and background colour of the feature image, however, I do not seem to be able to remove the shadow type border. .post-thumb .c_img { background:transparent!important; border:none; } Could someone help me?
