I'm trying to use the full width rev slider and noticed that when you activate the slide URL, a "read more" link appears in that specific slide. Is there a way to just make the whole slide a link? Thanks.

Hello there: I've installed an RSS icon on my webpage, however I have completely forgotten how to set the 'image' of RSS icon to actually trigger the subscription/feed. Currently it links/goes to library image of icon...want it to trigger RSS sub..   Can you help direct me.   See: www.thetradinglab.com

Ideally, I want to customize the read more link, so instead of being just a plain text link, it should become a button through the css class btn btn-primary. I have followed the instructions mentioned in this post (http://www.pagelines.com/forum/topic/23854-how-to-customize-read-more-link/) but for some reason it didn't work. add_filter( 'continue_reading_link', 'custom_reading_link' ); function custom_reading_link( $link ) { $link = str_replace( 'class="', 'class="btn btn-primary ', $link ); // now return new link return $link; } This basically inserts the .btn & .btn-primary classes into the continue reading link. I added the above code, however it didn't work. For some reason, the CSS classes are not added to the link. In order to check whether there was something wrong in general, I tried to customize the text using the continue_reading_link_text (instead of the continue_reading_link) and it worked perfectly fine. It seems to be the case that for some reason the $link parameter does not work. I tried resetting the $link variable to something random (like "http://www.google.com"), but it also didn't change the link. I really don't know what the issue is. The site I tried this on is www.friendsandcooks.com. Thanks for your help!

Hi guys, I am trying to customize the author link that is by default included below the post title by changing its URL as well as including the rel="me" tag. You have mentioned (here http://www.pagelines.com/forum/topic/24354-change-author-page/?hl=author) that changing the author URL would require significant coding. However, is there a way around it? Can't it be done without too much coding (simply customizing part of the post loop)? The reason why I need to change it is Google. In order to get rich snippet excerpts from Google, you need to point to a page that includes your Google+ profile. And I guess more people will soon have the same problem. Hi All, Just doing some customizations for a client and we're a bit baffled on this one. We're using a number of different feature sets throughout the site. None of which have any URL's specified in the features and they're all set (apart from the front page ones) for no text... Just a straight image. On all the pages except the home page (the ones with text), they all show as links / clickable even when no url is specified for any of the slides. Does anyone have any ideas as to how we can stop these showing as clickable. Hi, i wanted to change the way the read more links appear on my website and instead of the arrow html to use the incorporated fontawesome icons like <i class="icon-chevron-right"></i> or the eye. Nothing happens. Can i trick this somehow?

Hi, I'm trying to build my home page (http://pb.carinafeldman.com ) as in my comp (attached) and I'm having trouble with: 1) getting those colored tabs with the translucent black background area around them to sit right at the bottom of the page. I first tried putting the HTML into the body of the page and the black background wouldn't extend the whole width of the browser window, so I decided instead to try pasting the HTML into a contentbox in the footer, but the damn thing (colored tabs + translucent black bg) is still sitting in the vertical middle of the page - although the translucent black bg now DOES cover the whole width of the window, which is progress I guess 2) I also can't get the group of tabs to center horizontally in the footer - I've tried targeting a whole bunch of stuff and nothing works. 3) when i resize (smaller) the browser window, every other tab shifts up a few pixels. WTF???? The other thing is how do I get each tab to be a link to a page? I could add an <a> tag to each <li> but the URL they'd link to would be dynamically generated so how do I?? Hi, I know this topic is explained previously, but I still can't manage this challenge. I want to change the link of the RSS icon to my personal feedburner link for subscription. I tried to paste the codes Simon and Batman provided in previous posts, but they don't work for me so far. Maybe I paste them in a wrong order. I'm still very green in coding... Can anyone give me a step by step plan how to configure this one? Also where to paste exactly? I have the Pagelines Customize plugin installed. The platformpro version I use is 1.6. Thank you all! I've been trying to attach my Pagelines affiliate link to the leaf logo on the bottom of the page, through the advanced tab, without any success. No matter what I do I cannot seem to get the link to update. I've cleared caches, used different browsers and computers. I've searched the forums but have not found anything pertaining to this issue. I am trying to add an external URL link to each of the featured images in posts, however, when I do, the URL is replaced with the default link, and directs the visitor right back to my site. Hello, I have just inserted an adsense banner using a custom function in my header section. My problem is that the branding section where my logo is links to my homepage and the span of the clickable area covers the full width of the header. Therefore when my adsense ad is clicked it just reloads my homepage. How can I either disable the homepage link altogether or make it so that it only happens when the logo of the website is clicked as opposed to clicking anywhere in the header? Thanks
