  1. Hello,    I am unable to get the UberMenu plugin to display in the Primary Website Navigation of my site.   I have integrated UberMenu successfully with other projects, but this is the first time I am unable to get the menu to appear on the primary navigation of an iBlogPro5 theme. The menu will appear in the footer when I choose the Simple Nav option, but that's not where I need/want it to appear. I am leaving the Simple Nav option checked, so you can see how it appears on the website: www.farms.uy   I've already contacted the plugin developer who sent me a link to an unrelated UberMenu here on the Pagelines forum. He also said, "I'm not familiar enough with the Pagelines-specific terminology to understand exactly what is going on." He then offered to "write up some integration instructions specific to the theme."   I'm wondering if I need to deactivate any of the navigation options under the Core Framework menu. If so, which ones? Any advice or recommendations that Pagelines could offer to me or the developer offering to write up some integration instructions would be appreciated.    Thank you,    Patrick  URL: farms.uy WordPress Version: 3.5.2 Theme: iBlogPro5 with 8 widgets
  2. Hi there. The front page of my site consists of a menu, a banner and boxes (no content area). However the space between the banners and the boxes below them is 400 px, which is the height of the content area if there were any content enabled on that page.    I used Firebug and tried to reduce the space to 20px using this code in the CSS. This doesn't reduce or change the spacing. Any ideas?  } #site #page, #site #dynamic-content {   min-height:20px;   zoom:1; }
  3. Hi, I'm using iBlogPro5, great theme. But ies don't support css3 so I need my site to detect these browser to send them to some acceptable css for the navs to look decent ? Note that I have very little coding knowledge that's why i use pagelines!! im thinking of simple css like no round corner no gradients etc. site is www.globalrecobros.com Thanks in advance Dalia
  4. I'm using iBlog Pro Theme. The latest version, iBlogPro 5. And i'm using an iPhone 5. is that names familiar? iBlogPro 5 iPhone 5 You know this theme inspired from Apple. Its looking good on desktop and its plausible on iPad. But iPhone, its horrible. i attached two screenshot from elmadergisi.com Apple blog. screenshots belongs to comments section of a page. Device is iPhone 5 and look at the result please. ElmaDergisi.com site does not have any active plugin that has not belongs to pagelines. i disabled all the plugins but nothing changed. how can we fix this? Maybe, there is no need avatars for comment section. Maybe disabling avatars at comments (mobile theme) works but there is no option for mobile theme... Please help for this. i cant say "please turn your device to horizontal position" to my visitors.
  5. Better-Carousel from Nick Haskins as an alternative responsive carousel section perfectly integrates with the framework. Editing underlying Flexslider2 parameters in the corresponding better-carousel > section.php works perfectly to adjust section behavior. But when switching to iBlogPro5 things change! At first sight you will see the thumbnails of the better-carousel jump to full 100% size. The width, adjusted in Better-Carousel to 125px is somehow overwritten or not loaded. Screenshot Framework only: http://www.screencast.com/t/gddLXB1nxAj Screenshot with iBlogPro5: http://www.screencast.com/t/nLcqIpucOJU Trying to find the reason, please help! And yes, I did an almost complete customization of better-carousel fitting perfectly into the design of iBlogPro5. http://www.screencast.com/t/UO6RPwwVemui I also posted the CSS-Customization for this Design at Nick Haskins Forum Section with Paglines: http://www.pagelines.com/forum/topic/26655-better-carousel-customized-for-iblogpro5/ Everything seemed to be perfect simply putting the correct width into Custom CSS (125px). But that was only CSS-cosmetics. Something in the background - coming from iBlogPro5 - changed mor than this. Later I figured out: parts of the Flexslider2.js don't work correctly with iBlogPro5 or may not load at all. Eiting parameters in the corresponding better-carousel > section.php has no more influence on the behavior or appearance (it did with framework only). And yes, I tested without the Custom-CSS of course.
  6. Hi Nick, want to share my customization work for wonderful Better-Carousel to integrate beautifully into iBlogPro5 plus adding two suggestions and wishes for the product to make the better even better First of all: unfortunately out of the box iBlogPro5 will overwrite Better-Carousel if you have an activated iAccordion-Section because of a jQuery-conflict! Using the Framework only - no problem. This was reported and solved in the following topic: http://www.pagelines.com/forum/topic/26695-iblogpro5-overwrites-better-carousel/?p=155821 Better-Carousel needs a proper working jQuery for its responsive design! For a shortcut I pasted the solution part of the threat in here: * * * »To be more specific: jQuery UI 1.8.16 - from iAccordion seems to be causing a conflict with jQuery FlexSlider v2.1 in Better-Carousel. My solution was: erasing jQuery UI 1.8.16 in pagelines-iblogpro5 > sections > iaccordion > jquery.ui.accordion.js And don't touch the parts: jQuery UI Widget 1.8.16 and jQuery UI Accordion 1.8.16 ! They seem to be responsible to have a working accordion widget in the sidebar. I'm not a pro and I was just playing around with that, but this gave me a working Accordion-Widget + the Better-Carousel working like default and untouched. Please note: Editing directly in the core will be overwritten with future updates - so whenever you install a iBlogPro5-Update - you might have to redo this work! « * * * 1. Suggestion - images should not be cut scrolling to the next set of images - two screenshots show what I mean: http://www.screencast.com/t/UO6RPwwVemui 1st screenshot shows the layout and design of the first set of images in the carousel - perfectly fitting into the box. http://www.screencast.com/t/ns8WbbbbUu05 2nd screenshot shows the images being cut after scrolling to the next image sets. I would prefer they would neatly fill the space and not be cutted - behaving like in the pagelines carousel! 2. Suggestion - It would be nice if you could add the text-blend-in effect on <hover> like in the pagelines carousel as an option. Would look great, I think. So here is my Customization-CSS from the screenshots above for anybody who wants to add Better Carousel to iBlogPro5 and play around with it - enjoy: /* BETTER CAROUSEL (Margins, Shadows etc.) */ .better-carousel .slides li, .better-carousel.better-clone .slides li { background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #FFFFFF; border: 1px solid #FFFFFF; box-shadow: 0 1px 2px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.4); margin: 1px 0px 3px 1px; padding: 3px; } #better-carousel li { margin-right: 14px; } /* BETTER CAROUSEL (Box etc.) */ .better-carousel, .better-carousel.better-clone { background-color: #FAFAFA; background-image: -moz-linear-gradient(center top , #FFFFFF, #F2F2F2); background-repeat: repeat-x; border: 1px solid #FFFFFF; border-radius: 4px 4px 4px 4px; padding: 20px 20px 5px; text-shadow: 0 1px 0 #FFFFFF; border-color: #E4E4E4 #CCCCCC #BBBBBB; border-style: solid; border-width: 1px; box-shadow: 0 1px 0 #CCCCCC; } .better-control-nav { margin-top: 5px; } /* BETTER CAROUSEL (Navigation Buttons) */ .better-control-paging li a { -moz-box-sizing: border-box; background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #E7E9EC; border-radius: 12px 12px 12px 12px; box-shadow: 0 1px 3px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.3) inset, 0 1px 0 rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.2); color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.4); display: inline-block; font-size: 12px; line-height: 20px; } /* BETTER CAROUSEL (Titelbox Adjustments) */ .better-carousel-item-title { height: 65px; margin-right: : -4px; padding: 5px; background: none; box-shadow: inherit; line-height: 15px; } /* BETTER CAROUSEL (Text istance to image (-) values bringing text into the image and overlay) */ .better-carousel .slides li img, .better-carousel.better-clone .slides li img { display: block; margin-bottom: 0px; } Aloha - Tang
  7. originally coming from iBlogPro3 - there was a custom-field called »thumb« carrying all my 200px x 200px post-thumbnails. I also used them in iBlogPro4 with no problem. Now in my migration-project to iBlogPro5 these custom fields still exists, but thumbnails don't show up like before - maybe it simply doesn't exist in the new framework. No problem, I thouht and started to manually grab the URLs and put them as »feature-post-thumbnail« in one of these legacy posts. But now the thumbs show up in 75px x 75px size in the post. The corresponding images are sitting in a Nextgen-Gallery folder with original size 200px x 200px and that folder seems to create a problem. If I copy on of these images over to the WP-Media folder and set as »feature-post thumbnail« they show up much bigger: 165px x 165px. Almost there, I thought, but still to small. So next I found the reason for the smaller size with Firebug in the »postloop« section: <a class="post-thumb img fix" style="width: 25%; max-width: 200px"> putting the width to 100% … and my original 200px x 200px thumb size was back! Great, I thought, but what code to put into the customize CSS plugin to change this? Firebug only gave me: element.style { max-width: 200px; width: 25%; } but no matching compiled CSS. Just putting that snippet in, gives no result. I'm not a pro and maybe it's simple, but I'm stuck with that an need help with the correct CSS. And of course it would be great to have a simple way to bulk edit my old posts to get the thumbnails back into place without the need to move them away from ther original NGG-folder. Maybe with a plugin like Auto Post Thumbnail PRO?
  8. Please, make the following options switchable in iBlogPro5 options: #feature_slider #feature-area { background: box-shadow; The background should be switched off to »none« by default. That way the beautiful grey and white design with box-shadow shows up. It matches perfectly with the iBlogPro5 design, I think. And if it is switchable, you can easily come back to the regular framework design with black canvas.
  9. Hello, I updated to WordPress version 3.5.1 last night, and now I'm having some issues with slider images not appearing and the RSS/Twitter icons in the header appearing as text rather than icons. (Screenshot attached). This occurs on the home page and the main blog page in Chrome/Firefox/Safari, but sometimes clears up after refreshing. Also, all of our 24 content categories disappeared momentarily this morning, and I'm wondering if this is a related issue. (Screenshot attached) Any feedback would be appreciated. Regards, Patrick
  10. Please see my iBlogPro5 strange navbar flashing text with quick slider here. The text flashes white/gray during the animation of the quick slider. This is only occurring in Safari.
  11. I activated iblogpro4 to copy my header scripts to iblogpro5. when i returned the navbar was black (not improved grey), none of the pull down menus work and my quick slider disappeared. Please help. Also just noticed masthead disappeared also. www.capek9cardio.com
  12. The separator line between headings should extend through navbar all the way as it does next to home. Anyone know how to fix this? I can't find that line in fire bug, just the navbar class: .fix:before, .fix:after { line-height: 0; } I'd rather not change the size of the navbar - just the separator line.
  13. Php from iBlogPro4 is still showing up in iBlogPro5. Template page-fullwidth. See this page as an example.
  14. Hello - I'm using 3dcart (http://wsiada.3dcartstores.com/) as our shopping cart and want to wrap the shopping cart so that it appears as if you never left our site (www.wsiada.com). I have a static navbar setup but am unsure how to wrap the shopping cart. I apologize for being unclear but "wrap" is the term used in Joomla. Any ideas on where to get started would be greatly appreciated!
  15. Is there any way to conveniently change font size and line height for H1, H2, H3 and H4 title tag separately. I tried using firebug but they all interfere with each other. For example when I change H4 title (used in sidebar), it changes H2 tag properties of homepage. Please suggest how can I handle this.. /*Change Font Size for H4 Title Headings*/ h4, .entry-title, .entry-title a { color: #222222; font-size: 15px; text-shadow: 0 1px 0 rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.15); } /*Change Font Size for H1 Title Headings*/ h1, .entry-title, .entry-title a { color: #222222; font-size: 26px; line-height:1.0em; text-shadow: 0 1px 0 rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.15); } /*Change Font Size for H2 Title Headings*/ h2, .entry-title, .entry-title a { color: #222222; font-size: 26px; line-height:1.0em; text-shadow: 0 1px 0 rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.15); }
