  1. On my website there's space below the footer area. Here's what I know about the space: 1) it is 20px high 2) it appears on every page, regardless of page template, content height, or enabled features 3) it displays the page background color, but does not display the repeating background image 4) if the PageLines Leaf icon (#cred) is displayed (which I have turned off), it enlarges this area, and the leaf appears centered within. What I would like to do is eliminate this space, so that my footer (and beside the footer, my background image) form the lowest edge of the page. A picture of this nefarious space is included for reference:
  2. Help with responsive divs

Hi. I am wondering if someone can help me. I have some buttons on a page in my site that are driving me crazy. Here is the page: http://mattro.se/contact/ The Linkedin and Instagram buttons (divs) are supposed to be side by each, and continue to be side by each until the browser is so small that the containing div slips under the message box. Right now, the 'linkedin button is slipping under the IG button long before the containing div slips under. Can someone PLEASE show me what im doing wrong here? Here is the page code: <div class="row"><div class="span12 well"><h1 class="contact">Pen me a letter</h1>[contact-form-7 id="460" title="Contact form 1"]</div> </div> <!--THIS IS THE CONTACT FORM 7 CODE--> <div class="row"><div class="span4"> <p>Name (required)<br /> [text* your-name] </p> <p>Email (required)<br /> [email* your-email] </p> [checkbox WorkEnquiry "Work Enquiry"] <p>Subject<br /> [text your-subject] </p> <p class="hidden-desktop">Message [textarea messagemobile]</p> <p class="hidden-desktop">[submit "Send"]</p></div> <div class="span8"><div class="phone well hidden-desktop hidden-tablet"><a href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="window.location='tel:+12505807673'" title="Call me" class="tel"><h1><em class="icon-phone icon-2x"></em></h1></a></div> <div class="row contact"><div class="span6 instag well"><a href="http://instagram.com/matroas" target="blank"><h1><em class="icon-camera-retro icon-2x"></em></h1></a></div> <div class="span6 linkedin well"><a href="http://ca.linkedin.com/in/matroas" target="_blank"><h1><em class="icon-linkedin icon-2x"></em></h1></a></div> </div> <p class="fredquote hidden-phone hidden-tablet">"The connections we make in the course of a life - maybe that's what heaven is. 3. Hello, I'm hoping I can get some pointers regarding how to create a style something like this: http://themeforest.net/item/soundboard-a-premium-music-wordpress-theme-/full_screen_preview/2558532 (screenshot below) ie. to be able to set transparency on the various content areas, whilst allowing the background image to be fully visible in the "spacing" areas. A similar example in the Pagelines showcase is: http://www.pagelines.com/exhibit/digital-heavens/ Do I apply styles to all the different areas eg. widget-pad, mcolumn-pad, content-pad or is there a different way of accomplishing this? Thanks
  4. Centering Content Div

So I am having an issue, this works in some browsers, but not in others. My screen looks fine, but not sure why it I have to do it this way.... div.content { padding-left: 56px; position:relative; } Any idea if I can float it to the center instead of adding a padding?

  6. Hi, I'm trying to build an mp3 player (using soundmanager2 components) that runs continuously and have got as far as running it with a fixed header, I'm just unable to work out the best route to placing the main content into its own div so that when a navigation link is clicked in the header, the top of the site stays as it is and the main content is loaded dynamically so the mp3 player isn't interrupted. I am using ajax and jquery so far and have been able to find a solution for the div theory to work but I just can't seem to find the correct .php page to use without breaking the site. The customised fixed header is alive and kicking I just need the main content to load dynamically now and then i'm set. I've found this useful page and am basing my theory around this functionality: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex17/ajaxcontent.htm I'm a music producer and mix engineer and am developing an online mixing service and this music facility is key to my future sites functionality. Hope I've explained my issue correctly. Thanks Nat
