  1. Hi Guys, I'm working on a site for a client and we're using Custom Press from WPMUDev to create custom post types and custom field for some job vacancy listings. The data entry side of it is all working. All I need to do now is make PageLines display the contents of the custom fields (There are only 2 custom fields). Custom press gives me two pieces of PHP code that I would normally paste into the single.php file to make them display but I gather I should use the BaseSection plugin and create my own section to display the custom fields. This is the bit I'm stuck on! I don't need anything fancy at all... just need to get them to display. Please could someone point me in the right direction as to what I need to put in the BaseSection template to get it to output the custom fields from the following 2 chunks of php? <?php echo do_shortcode('[ct id="_ct_text_51af0ad725f0d" property="title | description | value"]'); ?> <?php echo do_shortcode('[ct id="_ct_datepicker_51af0c9f505d0" property="title | description | value"]'); ?> Any help would be very gratefully appreciated. Kind regards Justin
  2. Gird Portfolio custimization

Hi Guys, Hope all is grand. Have a quick question about the Grid Portfolio plugin, wonderful as it is! I am working on a site, and am looking to add a number of custom fields to the content format, and which will automatically draw through to the Grid Portfolio portfolio layout and then the page itself. So, looking to make a 'child' of the plugin for this. Site is www.wlfn.org As you see from the landing page is a film network blog / site, where film makers can load up their short films! I am trying to add Custom fields "directors name; length of film; and so on" to the hover section but can't for the life of me find the right section to adapt. At the moment it would show the films title.... and can see how that's pulled through. Have created the fields on the template page! Any advice or pointers would be appreciated. Am using the plugin Advanced Custom Fields to create them (had a look through pagelines but could not see anything similar). Am a keen but novice PHP beginner.... thanks Tim
  3. I can't use Custom Fields. I got ride of Boxer Pro, but the dropdown is still there, and I can't use Custom Fields. I AM in touch with the dev, but I need this to be resolved. I bought Boxer Pro on your rec, it caused nothing but trouble, and now I can't use Custom Fields. So, I guess I need help.
  4. Hi, I've noticed that custom field data from custom posts isn't showing up when I create template to display the custom field data via the Views plugin which also works with the free Types plugin. The tutorial that I'm following is here - http://types-tutorials.com/how-to-make-a-job-board-system-using-types-and-views-part-3/ I realise that Views is a premium plugin, however I'm happy to setup a test environment with Pagelines installed, for someone to jump into, and try to diagnose what's going wrong. I switched themes to the stock wordpress theme and the custom field data shows up fine and represented correctly as defined in the view template, so it's evident that something is different with PageLines that results in the custom field data not appearing. I would appreciate any help with this. Cheers Adam
  5. Hi there. I would like to add a few custom fields to portfolio posts on a client site. These will only be displayed when a portfolio post is added, the normal blog posts will not display them / contain them. Can someone help me with a tutorial on how to create these fields and how to add them to the post template. Thanks in advance.
