Hi, I have installed Pagelines Framework 2.44 with Buddypress 1.8 at http://futurecrafting.com. The CSS for all the Buddypress pages is broken. For example, the activity stream (http://futurecrafting.com/activity) is compressed to about 250px, instead of the full width 500px. I tried using Firebug, but couldn't figure out how to fix this. Please help.

I cannot get Buddypress 1.8 to work with Pagelines. I have installed BP for Pagelines from the store, but cannot find the much mentioned BP Template Pack Any ideas?

Hi, The new buddypress 1.7 is out and their new code to work with every theme is there without the need of the BP template pack anymore. Because of the BP template pack some new buddypress plugins are not working. In order to use buddypress my theme needs some code in functions.php from what i could understood from buddypress support, something that looks like this for those still using template pack (needed for the pagelines to work with buddypress): function fixes_buddydrive_for_template_pack() { add_theme_support( 'buddypress' ); } add_action( 'after_setup_theme', 'fixes_buddydrive_for_template_pack' ); or needs to be fixed with this info http://bpdevel.wordpress.com/2013/02/25/bp-theme-authors-make-sure-your-theme-registers-buddypress-support/ Can pagelines be updated with these things for future? Maybe team working already on this, maybe is wrong for me to post and ask this but, wanted to let you guys know as i am using pagelines with buddypress and came across this problem.

Hello everyone, I am using buddypress with pagelines and my issue is that I don't know how to display the login form from buddypress. From what I understand, the login form is hard coded in the sidebar when using buddypress. But I just can't figure out how to display it using pagelines. Maybe it's something really simple I have overlooked... Right now I am using the base theme as a child theme I have the template pack installed I have the buddypress for pagelines plugin installed and activated I'm also using the membership plugin from WPMU dev It's a multilingual site and I'm using the WPML plugins Everything is up to date. Can anybody point me in the right direction? Thank you for your help! Sabine

Do you have an example of a website that is themed with Pagelines Framework and uses the BuddyPress plugin. I would really like to see the possibilities.

For the life of me I can't get Buddypress pages to not break my CSS. I finally had a breakthrough by adding this code to the custome code header section on pagelines settings backend. <link media="all" type="text/css" href="http://fhs.myyearstream.net/files/pagelines/compiled-css-1360575606.css" id="pagelines-less-css" rel="stylesheet"> It fixed the CSS on Google Chrome, and only Google Chrome. Safari, Firefox, and IE are still broken. I attached the screenshot of what it looks like. I have done the steps for buddypress and page lines, 1,000,000 times. I hope the code above can help people figure out my problem .

FULLY pagelines compatible themes with bbpress and buddypress
linkfr posted a topic in DMS & Legacy Products
Hi guys, After realising it was simply impossible (?) to use Platform theme together with Buddypress, i've been looking around for a while and finding contradictory information. http://wordpress.org/support/topic/pagelines-platform-theme-is-not-compatible-with-buddypress?replies=1 Could someone please post what PageLines themes are really and fully compatible both with bbPress and Buddypress? -
Hey guys, I am using Pagelines to create a community website that will be the first in Romania dedicated to people diagnosed with cancer and leukemia and creating a database with those persons and putting them in touch one with another to share facts on how to get through their struggle and also putting them in touch and with a community of doctors, volunteers and sponsors. I want them to have the benefits of having an internal message system and to be able to write, share photos etc etc and all the stuff Buddypress offers. Pagelines Team came with great support, they helped me buying a pro license and my work in building a modern website is so easy and i love the product. In the past the team helped with some other requests but now a series of task will oblige me to create several threads and i think it is better to discuss all in one so.... is there anyone in the team assign now or in the past but still in the team to know how to work in upgrading the Buddypress compatibility withing PageLines framework? I almost got in a fight with the Buddypress support team as i need some help with many items involving the Buddypress part withing Pagelines, many elements do not align right, cross browser compatibility needs to be updated within the code, overall making the compatibility only 50 percent usable. I do not want to create several threads and bother lots of moderators or team members. I think the plugin withing Pagelines core needs some update, if you guys think of course that part of of support is part of your road-map of course, maybe we can work on this together through the items i am gonna report?

I installed the Buddypress plugin and went through the five steps and when it activated I lost my entire site. Fortunaltey I deleted the plugin and got everything back. I just want the forum to be like another page on my tool bar and when they click on it, it opens us. Do I need a separate blog dedicated to just the forum and then crate a custom link on the tool bar. Please help

Hey guys! If i may, i would like to ask for your help again I am trying to alter my buddypress community page template because i am loosing lots of space: around 50 to 100 pixels from the content section. That space for sure can be used for some content and also looks bad as it leaves too much white space on the page, at least for my taste. This is caused by the padding of each page element. I do not know which one to reduce not to affect the rest of the design to make the other pages, non buddypress related look weird also... Any help how to reduce all that without affecting the overall code of other pages?

I've created a nav bar which I am using as the BrandNav Section Navigation (one of the 4 permissible menus) - these are the main BuddyPress elements eg Classifieds etc. The menu also includes various child pages. However, none of the child pages show up. What am I missing? Thanks. Link to site: http://ispy.it/66b1

Resolved Buddypress Styling And Loading Errors
TourKick (Clifford P) posted a topic in DMS & Legacy Products
Site located at http://crescentridgehomeowners.com/ but some screenshots not available to non-registered users, just FYI. 1) Why are multiple pages showing active on the menu/nav area? http://screencast.com/t/4HwW6gZCLk 2) Look and feel of most BuddyPress pages is wonky. http://screencast.com/t/MUtEmVriwl7 3) Some areas have stray/errant bullet points http://screencast.com/t/P6Hu2ZlWLwr and http://screencast.com/t/8LoCFqQs 4) BuddyPress progress bars never finish loading video: http://screencast.com/t/smdFe7BN I haven't tried deactivating all other plugins, but other than that, do any of these look like known or common issues or something as part of the setup process? Thank you for your help. -
Hi, Earlier discussions was marked as resolved, but actually it was not. In short: - Browser specific css plugin is not working on buddypress pages. Sugggestion was that it had to do with buddypress itself. - On the buddypress forum they are saying it is not a buddypress problem as such. The Browser specific css code is working for the bp-default theme when added to the bp-default functions.php file. Their suggestion is that it has to do with the priority settings of the body_classes filter. - Buddypress uses the body_classes filter too: https://gist.github.com/4077623. At the end they merge the buddypress classes with the wordpress classes. - That brings me back to pagelines. I have tried different priority settings for the body_classes filter in both the Browser specific css and Buddypress plugin without any results. Any idea how I can prioritize the filter the right way? Thank you.

I love PL 2.3 Pro but Buddypress styling is a wreck!
Shane Holloman posted a topic in DMS & Legacy Products
Has anyone managed to get buddypress 1.6.1 looking presentable in Pagelines 2.3 Pro. It appears to be a bootstrap styling clash. I'd love to know if I'm missing something obvious! buddypress and pagelines ugly styling!.tiff
