I'm designing (not so much a coder!) a site for a client that requires the BrandNav instead of the NavBar. When I switched to the BrandNav, the search box went away, but I still need that functionality. How would I get a search box at the end of my BrandNav? Thanks!

Background image over header under brandnav over body background image
ardentconcepts posted a topic in DMS & Legacy Products
I have a green background image in the body and a white colored header. body{background: url(".../bg-copy1.png") repeat-x scroll 0 0 #82B64A; color: #EEEEEE;} #header {background: #ffffff;} I am wanting to put another image over the white header and over the original background image in the body. I have been able to get it in the brandnav section but I can't seem to extend it into the content area, while leaving the header in place.... any thoughts? I'm trying to accomplish something like this, just with a white header... http://www.emotionslive.co.uk/ -
I've searched the forum and have firebugged this thing for hours, but can't find a solution so I thought I'd reach out for some help. I want to use the Brandnav with some background opacity to allow a slideshow to show through. Please see the image below for what I'm hoping to achieve. I'm using Layer Slider for the slideshow and have fiddled around with the positioning of it to get it to "sit" underneath the Brandnav. But I cannot seem to get the Brandnav to behave as I want (opacity: .8). Any ideas?

Is it possible to move the navigation down independent of the logo in the BrandNav section? I am trying to move it so it is flush bottom with the logo (see attachment). I would also like to reduce the gap between the feature slider and the calls to action below without affecting the main content margins. Any help would be appreciated. The site URL is - http://www.bikramyoga-sp.com Thanks! Michele

Hi, I am not sure how to set up my header, Or if I should do it with Brandnav. With branding and navbar the site looks like this first attached file, I would like it to look like this mock up in the second upload ps_banner_150 with the brand aligned with the nav bar. Thanks for insight into how this is done.

Trying to add hook in brandnav but making nav disappear!
crogers posted a topic in DMS & Legacy Products
Hello, I'm trying to add a tagline just above the nav in brandnav. But when I use the hook "brandnav_after_brand", my navigation within brandnav disappears completely. http://diskshred.it/ add_action('brandnav_after_brand', 'brandnav_tagline'); function brandnav_tagline() { ?> <p>TEST</p> <?php } -
base child theme configuration question: impacting main theme header navigation
sgendry posted a topic in DMS & Legacy Products
I understand that the Base child theme is for developers to create new child themes, and that you recommend non-developers to use the Pagelines Customize Plug-in. I am a non-developer, and I have the customize plug-in. My current challenge is that I want the PostNav to only show posts that are within the same category, and for that I need to edit section.php inside the postnav section folder of pagelines. Since I don't want to loose my edits with each of your next updates, I figured that installing the base child theme and copying my modified section.php file there was the best thing to do. This is working, but creating another problem: the base child theme is now messing up my header by showing a brandnav menu with a link to all my pages (not posts). How/where can I tweak this configuration? The base child theme should not impact / interfere at all with the header and navigation menu of the main theme. Thank you.- 4 replies

Any suggestions on the best way to get the current Brand nav section at http://radpreview.com/ADG/ to be like the attached pictures. Not sure if i need to create an entirely new section to make that happen or if i can customized the current one enough to make this happen. Thanks

Am I missing something? The brandnav section is on my server in the pagelines/section folder where it should be, but it's not available in the drag and drop editor, or in wordpress menus. Do I have to enable it somewhere?

I am building a new site here: http://www.trakrcrm.net. I am using BrandNav with my logo on the left. Is there an easy way to put a logo or button on the right of that menu? My current site is http://www.salestrakr.com. I want a "Login" and "Sign Up Now" buttons. Can't figure out how to use a shortcode button nor a graphic button here.

My test site is http://trakrcrm.net. I want to change the font size in BradNav. How best can I do that? Or where in CSS is this controlled?

Hello, I am trying to implement a BrandNav menu. The menu items appear vertically and somewhat lower on the right edge. In all docs and forum post samples, they are horizontal, to the right of the logo (e.g. here: http://support.pagelines.me/docs/sections/brandnav/). I cannot figure out where my settings can be different. Is there an easy solution to this? Here is the URL: http://www.animatinggaza.com/wordpress/ Thank you for your help! Yours faithfully, Jan.

Hi there, How do you change the brandnav settings with the ignite theme? I want to use an image for the logo and tagline space. Thanks, Graham

I am building a website using Paglines Framework. I would love to center the logo similarly to the attached pic. Any ideas on how to best accomplish this?

Hi there, No matter what I use (only Branding, or BrandNav, or only Classic Nav) there's an awkward space between the header and the quickslider below it on the main page. It exists on the other pages as well but it's less noticeable since there's a PageInfo to break the seam. My logo is a transparent .png, and does not have extraneous pixel space surrounding the image. I've looked up and tried to fix this based on similar issues in the forums, but to no avail. Here is all the custom CSS i've entered hoping to fix the various configurations: #branding {.mainlogo-link, .mainlogo-img{margin:0 auto;float:none;}} /* Centered Navigation */#page { #navbar, #nav{ .navline, .main-nav{ float:none; text-align: center; li { display:inline-block; float:none; text-align:center; a { float:none; text-align:center; } } } .dropdown-menu { text-align:left; } }}/* Centered Navigation Media Query*/@media(max-width:767px){body.pagelines { #page { #navbar { .navline { float:none; text-align:center; li,a { display: block; float: none; text-align: center; } } } } } } span.c_img:hover {.transform(-5deg);.transition(all 0.2s);} ul.menu-always-on-top li ul li a {padding: 10px 0 0 0px; text-align: center;} /* CSS FOR NAV BACKGROUND COLOR */ #primary-nav .content { background-color: #000000; } /* THIS WILL CHANGE THE FONT COLOR IN THE NAV */ .main_nav li a { color: #000000 !important; } /* Centered Navigation Media Query*/@media(max-width:767px){body.pagelines { #page { #brandnav { .brandnav-nav { float:none; text-align:center; li,a { display: block; float: none; text-align: center; } } } } } } Sorry about it being a lot. Secondly: BrandNav, when viewed on my iPad, split up. The logo was staggered above the nav bar, which was shuttled all the way to the right. I'd like a way to fix this too, if possible. Thirdly: I essentially want my home page to look like this: http://www.bikramyogasouthpas.com/ (was a site I found from these forums) Thanks very much. Enjoying the framework and recommending to the people I know who are interested, affiliate free.

Okay, so I've read through threads and haven't seen any answers yet, so here's my attempt. I am trying to increase the number of submenus in my Brandnav. Here's the steps I have taken: 1. Copied -> \wp-content\themes\PageLines\sections\BrandNav 2. Pasted -> \wp-content\plugins\PageLines-Customize\BrandNav 3. Edited -> \wp-content\plugins\PageLines-Customize\BrandNav\Sections.PHP 4. Changed -> depth => 3 to depth =>4 My menu doesn't display anything deeper than it previously did. Can someone please help? Thanks.
