Hi 1. Sorry to ask but I have just about got used to Platformpro and now it seems I should be migrating to Pagelines, is there a simple way to do this as I am not too technical? 2. I also have a few issues in Platformpro that I would really appreciate help on: 2A) Can someone help why my blog posts do not show up when my Banner posts do on my blog tab in my menu? 2B) Also, in the footer, my old menu is still being shown even though I changed my main menu, how can I get the too to match? 2C) How can I get my posts to show in the Blogroll? as only links do currently? Is anyone else having upload errors on 3.6 - PlatformPro 1.5.3 (?) If I update to 1.6 will that solve my upload problems? Issues with uploads into pages or Media Library or FormidablePro. Site has to go live on Tuesday - afraid to upgrade now - but if I do - do I upgrade the Base child theme as well or only the PlatformPro. Am not going to switch it to Pagelines at this point - to crucial and enough issues that I can't handle at the moment with uploads to forms. And why don't I see live chat for plus on this site - is it just on my framwork sites? Thanks!

Hi, I'm about to upgrade from Platform Pro to Framework, but noticed it's given me two options - Pagelines Framework Professional and Pagelines Framework Professional - Standalone. Just wondering what the difference is? Thank you. Kellie

Hi I own www.maioraasset.com, which currently runs on PlatformPro. Given this theme is discontinued, and with PageLines recommending everyone to upgrade to Framework - will I have to do much to maintain the same look as I currently have? i.e. do I have to redo all the settings, re-upload all documents and images, etc? Or is it simply a matter of installing the new theme and status quo is maintained? Appreciate your help Nick

Have gone through several customizations of e-commerce (getshopped)'s shopping cart. Do not want to lose that if I change the site over to PageLines. Anyone have any experience with cart changes on upgrade - have already installed WP 3.5 - but have not updated PlatformPro - am considering installing PageLines 2. whatever instead. Site has to go live in about a week - afraid I won't be able to get a lot of it working properly. What exactly am I to do with all of the customizations that are in Base? Help - thanks!!

Hey guys, I'm in the process of upgrading our site from PlatformPro to Pagelines 2.3.8 and I'm encountering a major discrepancy in speed. Also we tried disabling all plugins, but that didn't fix it. Debug mode is on and we don't have W3 Total Cache on either (Turning W3 total cache on doesn't fix the speed issue though). My site suddenly has a whole slew of errors at the top of the page and they all look like this: Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /homepages/5/d365318221/htdocs/wp-content/themes/platformpro/core/library/class.layout.php on line 164 with different pages and php doc being affected. Originally there was an error saying the site needed to upgrade to php5 since the server was using php4 so I upgraded then got these errors. Any ideas?

I'm looking for some direction on what steps to take to remove the large amount of whitespace between the bottom of the Call To Action element and the top of the Soapbox element on a home page. Hi, Here is some of the software versions we are using: Platform Pro 1.4.0 and Platform Base 1.4.0. Wordpress version 3.4.2 TheCartPress Version 1.2.5.2 TheCartPress Canada Post Version 1.1.0 Bug/Problem: TheCartPress plugin is working - http://www.kreekspeak.com/shop/ However, in Wordpress, whenever I make an update to a product, the main slider image on the homage page changes and shows the Pagelines Platform intro screen and it's following slides. The Boxes underneath also get created and show the lorem ipsum text. So every time I update a product it automatically creates multiple sets of the Pagelines slide images and boxes in Wordpress. And moving it to the trash does not it help, it just creates new ones. I also tried to hide the theme intro under Platform Pro Settings/Misc Settings/Show Theme Introduction, however, it does not appear to help with the problem. Could there be a conflict or some other issue? Thank you! Cathy

Hey everyone. I would like to know if there is a way - not as complicated like coding - for adding GOOGLE PLUS social icon on the header next to facebook, twitter, youtube, linkedin and rss icons. I have the last edition of PlatformPro. I tried it looking for the image of "linkedin" (that I don't use) on the theme archives to change it for a google plus icon but I only found social icon for sharing images. When I bought it I did it because pagelines team promise to be updating and sharing with the customers that through all the discussion on the forums did the feedback for what now is called "pagelines" a new more expensive framework and PlatformPro users have to pay for it, just because the name changed. Now PlatformPro doesn't have important updatings like Google Plus icon. That's Sad, not for the customer but for the trust every person put on the creators at the beginning of the project. If you are creating a new framework please be sure the "old" one to be updated at least on basic stuff like new international social networks, I understand you need to produce money but keep the honor and human behavior, that one you started with. Thank you for your help and I am sorry for complaining.

I activated the Jetpack Comments on one of my sites and after that I have a strange url-error. If I write a comment and tries to submit it I got an redirection to an old url I used when I first developed the site. I have search the db and can conform that I don't have any string to the old url. I guess this means the url must be hard-coded in one php-file but I can't find anything. The installation is an old Platform Pro that has been updated to Pagelines Framework. If I do the same thing on a fresh installation all works as it is ment to. Hi, I'm using platform pro and qTranslate plugin. I'm translating all the posts but in one category, I only want to use one language, so I would like to hide the language flags, only for that category. Any idea of how can I do that? Thank you very much!
