I have purchased the YouTube plugin from your web site. I have tried multiple times to install but it won't. I downloaded the ZIP, selected it through the add plugin in WP, and the message I get is below.   I need to get this working as soon as possible. Help please. Hi guys,   as I already told you on twitter I get stuck upgrading to DMS on my site.   It's my second try.   Yesterday I've tried on a demo site and I have the same problem but I thought it was about you being hacked and dms not able to "talk" to the store.   Today I start with a full wipe of the database and all was smooth.   So I decide to upgrade my personal website. Actually it's empty but I need to make it work soon cause my clients need some reference on my latest work.   Anyway I get stuck. DMS toolbar is showing on the frontend but clickin on it makes nothing at all. I disabled all widgets and plugins and function.php is empty since it comes with dms.   I create a user account for you if you want to check by yourselves. If someone of dev/support team give me his contact I can send you a PM. The site is http://studio4nea.it   I've done what you (from [email protected]) suggested ("renaming the plugin folder") but unfortunately have no success on this. I also have tried to remove the old pagelines directory and child theme but even with this I have no luck. As you noticed (from [email protected]) there is a youtube error shown by developer tools of chrome but I think it's something with dms itself.   The other site I've already upgraded (http://demo.studio4nea.it/test/ ) is still showing the same error but dms is working! Although if you try to change theme to i.e. twenty-twelve error disappear.   Hope you can help me because I really need to upgrade other clients website and I absolutely cannot wipe their database out! Hi all   This is just to comment what I think about the problems we have in this moments.   After hacking  PageLines all would have to have a little patience. Hi Guys, This is bound to be so easy it's unbelievable, but it's got me stumped! I'm working on a layout for a client and I've got a three column layout: Main content | Sidebar 1 | Sidebar 2 What I need to do is add a little space (10px or so) between the two sidebars, but I just can't seem to find the way to do it. I've tried padding and margin on the sidebar div Id's. They have an effect, but not the right one. Hi Guys, I'm working on a site for a client and we're using Custom Press from WPMUDev to create custom post types and custom field for some job vacancy listings. The data entry side of it is all working. All I need to do now is make PageLines display the contents of the custom fields (There are only 2 custom fields). Custom press gives me two pieces of PHP code that I would normally paste into the single.php file to make them display but I gather I should use the BaseSection plugin and create my own section to display the custom fields. This is the bit I'm stuck on! I don't need anything fancy at all... just need to get them to display. Please could someone point me in the right direction as to what I need to put in the BaseSection template to get it to output the custom fields from the following 2 chunks of php? <?php echo do_shortcode('[ct id="_ct_text_51af0ad725f0d" property="title | description | value"]'); ?> <?php echo do_shortcode('[ct id="_ct_datepicker_51af0c9f505d0" property="title | description | value"]'); ?> Any help would be very gratefully appreciated. [Note - I previously started this conversation in a separate thread but I want to open it up for more discussion so am reposting here.] I am new to Pagelines and am trying to understand how build a child theme from scratch. I have some basic HTML/CSS knowldege but I am currently a beginner when it comes to PHP & Javascript. I have built some Wordpress sites before but have only ever made basic CSS modifications to an existing theme. I have never built a theme or child theme before. I want to learn how to create/customise a child theme in Pagelines but I have no idea where to start, and can't find any documentation to help me. I just watched the PDET Video tutorials. They were a little out of date but still very helpful in understanding how to create Pagelines Sections, even for a beginner coder like me. The problem is there are no more video tutorials! Sections were covered, but where are the rest of the promised videos on Themes and Plugins? We need a series of tutorials (maybe as videos) taking us though the steps of building a Pagelines child theme from scratch (or from the base child theme), similar to the sections video tutorials. I have looked at the Theming page but it does make a lot of assumptions about our knowledge. I currently don't really understand how all the different components fit together in creating a child theme. Here are my questions: To build a child theme for Pagelines, do we need to know Wordpress theming already? If yes, are there any good tutorials out there to take us through the process? How do all the components of a child theme fit together? How do hooks and actions fit into the design? Do we need to learn LESS before we begin? Any good resources for this? Is there an example theme that uses bootstrap available? I want to understand how to use the grid. Is it easy to take an existing Wordpress theme and convert it into a Pagelines child theme? How do I do this? Would I even want to, or is it too long-winded? What are the best tools to use? How do you see what you are doing (CSS changes etc.)? Are their any video tutorials explaining how to create child themes for Pagelines? I like Pagelines in principle, but these days very few of us would build a WP theme from scratch for a new website - we'd simply take an existing theme and customise it. Pagelines does not appear to have much choice in this regard, since there are currently very paid few child themes available. Thanks in advance.

Throwing this out here since I'm having *splendid* luck with assistance via PL staff today (Yay Rob!). I've got a site... don't we all? Running WP/Pagelines with Woocommerce- blog and store. All 3 pieces of this puzzle have their own way of allowing access/maintaining subscriber/customer/user databases. And it seems EXTREMELY dumb + confusing + redundant (in the bad way) to have 3 different ways for someone to become part of your list, all with different functions. Has anyone had this issue before? How did you solve it? Do you choose one and dump the others? Don't want that because I want people to have the benefit of all 3 (commenting, subscriptions, store account). Could they be smushed together in some seamless and elegant way? Am I in over my head? (WAIT- do NOT answer that last one!) Okay geniuses, I await the brilliance of the PL hive mind. Bree

Hi everyone. I hope someone will be able to help me with this situation; I'm happy to provide any clarification or additional information needed! I'm using CiviCRM with my PageLines/WP install and have been having issues sending group emails (that's not what I'm asking for help with here, just laying the groundwork a bit to give context). The key to getting the plugin to send the emails seems to be having the cron job on my server fire correctly. I've set up a cron job using wget which should work but doesn't. The test for this is to try the URL I'm using for the wget directly in my browser, but when I do, I get the following error message: Fatal error: Call to a member function pagelines_register_sections() on a non-object in /home/go9anpf/public_html/wp-content/themes/pagelines/includes/class.sections.php on line 79 Searching the PageLines forums for a fix, I found this post: http://www.pagelines.com/forum/topic/25739-civicrm-pagelines-no-cron/ Trying the crm.php code Simon so helpfully listed in the above post did not change anything for me. To be clear, I'm on the following: PageLines 4.2.1 (Base Theme) CiviCRM version: 4.2.6 CMS version: WordPress 3.5.1 MySQL version: 5.1.68-cll PHP version: 5.2.17 The more I try to work through this, the deeper it seems to go. Any help or advice (geared toward an advanced-novice level front-end developer) would be much appreciated!

I've been working with pagelines for a few sites now and love it! I'm building a site on my subdomain (si.bluefantail.com) and recently noticed the the footer is entirely missing? I've gone through all my custom CSS, the footer/header section, the drag and drop sections, site options. Basically EVERYTHING. I can't figure out why it's missing! I added the morefoot columns to the footer section, but that's not what I want. None of my branding is showing up in the site options (the watermark etc). Help please! Thanks, Elijah

Hi All, Just doing some customizations for a client and we're a bit baffled on this one. We're using a number of different feature sets throughout the site. None of which have any URL's specified in the features and they're all set (apart from the front page ones) for no text... Just a straight image. On all the pages except the home page (the ones with text), they all show as links / clickable even when no url is specified for any of the slides. Does anyone have any ideas as to how we can stop these showing as clickable. I thought trying with the boxes (3 boxes for my 3 categories displaying the latest cointent of each) but it doesn't seem possible. Do you know I way to do it? Hey guys, Was working on this with James in live chat and can't seem to get it figured out. I set my entire site to secure but for some reason these two google fonts keep coming up as unsecure. I have not uploaded them myself and they're pagelines standard fonts so I'd assume it shouldn't be hard to switch them to https. I have tried flushing the site cache then disabling W3 Cache. Could someone point me in the right direction here... I've read elsewhere in the forum the best way to have a horizontal menu is simple nav. I want a horizontal menu at the very bottom of my page (simple nav dragged into footer section). Now I have all my pages showing up in my footer. Not quite what I was after. I only want a few select pages to show up there. Is there a way to do this with Simple Nav?

Hi, got an annoying one here. The main contnet area of my site is over running the footer, but only on one page. I have deleted the page and recreated it and still I have the same problem. It uses magento to pull in a list of itmes for sale and it is this list that is extending down over the footer area. Hi! I am trying to get my website ueberlingen2020.de translated. I downloaded the http://www.pagelines.com/store/plugins/pagelines-customize/ Customize Plugin, decompressed it, uploaded it into my plugin-folder, activated it, added a new folder called "languages" and added the translations from your website as de_DE.mo and de_DE.po So those files are in /wp-content/plugins/pagelines-customize/language I am using the framework version: 1.4.3, wordpress 3.5.1 and plug-ins. As you can see, it does not work. A quick fix would be great, thanks! Franz

Dear Pagelines Community, I have not really seen this issue posted before, so I'm posting now. As we all know, WP 3.5.1 has been released. I have encountered a problem when I try to paste a javascript ad code into a post. The problem is, that the code does not display right using the Pagelines theme. I'll give two examples, both using the same javascript ad code. FYI, after you upgrade to the latest version of WordPress, the Mobile Menu plugin for PageLines breaks the feature and makes things stack on top of each other. I had to take it off of one of my clients' sites at www.Stefonik.com. Can you fix that and issue a new release so that I can put it back? It was pretty slick.
