  1. CrackBar Logo

Is there a way to change the URL for the crackbar logo. By default it links to the homepage of the site. I would like to link it to another site entirely.
  2. How do I make this happen? I tried to use link shortcodes to do it manually but it doesn't look like the genuine article from Navbar. Dropdown menus are enabled, but I don't know how to configure the hierarchy so that child pages appear in the dropdown beneath their parents :'(   http://bridalbandeau.com (A test site on a spare domain)
  3. Unchecking the option in Site Options > Header and Footer does not affect Crackbar :(
  4. Is it possible to have a different main menu for pages using crackbar? Creating 3 related sites for one company and I need to be able to select a menu to use with each page. I've figured out how to change backgrounds and headers using boxes, but I need to be able to change menus too.
  5. Hi Nick, I am a PageLines newbie, and I just purchased your CrackBar plugin - very useful! I've got a fair number of items in the menubar, and when viewed on certain smaller screen sizes I get stacked menu items until eventually I get the collapsed menu. I'd prefer to have the collapsed menu appear earlier if possible. I've tried to copy all of your media queries CSS into my custom code area in PageLines, and changed the min and max width from 767 to 1000 but this does not seem to work as expected - the menu temporarily becomes totally expanded at a certain point. At the end of the message is all the code I copied and the changes I made. Here is the site in question: http://hibbittsdesign.com/courses/cmpt-363-133/ Could you please point me in the right direction? Thanks very much, Paul ps - I am also using the custom color options for CrackBar // ************************************************************/ // * Responsive Handling // ************************************************************/ @media (max-width: 400px) { .crackbar .plbrand img{ max-width: 210px; } }//-- End Media Query --// @media (max-width: 600px) { .crackbar.crackbar-content-width { width: 95%; margin:0 auto; } }//-- End Media Query --// @media (max-width: 1000px){ #site .bigcrack-menu-wrap { li.dropdown { .dropdown-menu { display: none; } &.open { .dropdown-menu { display: block; .transition(height 1s linear); .bigcrack-menu-item-item { color:@white; color: rgba(255,255,255,0.8); } } } } } body.crackbar_fixed { .page-canvas { padding-top: 0; } .fixed_width #page .page-canvas{ margin-top: 0; } } .section-crackbar{ &.fixed-top { position: static; .crackbar-inner { padding: 5px; } } } #site .crackbar{ .dropdown-submenu a:after { border-left-color:transparent; } .brand { padding-left: 10px; padding-right: 10px; margin: 0 0 0 -5px; } .searchform{ float: none; padding: 10px; .box-sizing(border-box); width:100%; max-width:100%; .searchfield { height:30px; width:100%; .border-radius(5px); } } .navline{ float: none; margin: 0 0 9px; > li { float: none; > a { margin-bottom: 2px; padding: 6px 15px; padding: 6px 15px; background:transparent; color: rgba(255,255,255,0.8); .border-radius(3px); &:hover{ color: rgba(255,255,255,1); background-color: rgba(0,0,0,.15); } .caret { display: none !important; } } } .nav-header { text-shadow: none; } &.pull-right { float: none; margin: 0 0 9px; } } .bigcrack-menu-wrap { a { .transition(.2s linear); } } .dropdown-menu { a { padding: 6px 15px; padding: 6px 15px; background:transparent; color: #fff; color: rgba(255,255,255,0.8); .border-radius(3px); } li + li a { margin-bottom: 2px; } position: static; top: auto; left: auto; float: none; display: block; max-width: none; margin: 0 15px; padding: 0; background-color: transparent; border: none; .border-radius(0); box-shadow: none; visibility: visible; &:before, &:after{ display: none; } li > a:hover, .active > a, .active > a:hover, a:hover { color: rgba(255,255,255,1); background-color: rgba(0,0,0,.15); } } .nav-collapse { overflow: hidden; height: 0; clear: both; } .current-menu-item > a{ color: rgba(255,255,255,0.8); background-color: rgba(0,0,0,.15); } .pl-color-grey{ .navline > li > a,.dropdown-menu a{ color: #000; } .dropdown-menu{ li > a:hover, .active > a, .active > a:hover, a:hover{ color: #000; text-shadow: 0 1px 0 rgba(255,255,255,.5); } } .current-menu-item > a, .navline > li > a:hover{ color: #000; text-shadow: 0 1px 0 rgba(255,255,255,.5); } } .nav-btn-crackbar { display: inline-block; } } } //-- End Media Query --// @media (min-width: 1000px) { .nav-collapse.collapse { height: auto !important; overflow: visible !important; } }//-- End Media Query --//
  6. Hello Sir, i was wondering if you have posted anywhere the color codes for the predefined CrackBar color themes. i want to make a simple change to the "Black Transparent" theme but when i try to create my own "User Defined Theme" i cannot seem to get the same look. thank you in advance.
  7. Search Field In Crackbar

Hi there - I think the best way for me to fit a seach bar/field into my client's site is to add it to the left of my Crackbar. Can anyone give me a tip on doing this? Is there a cheat, or would it require some PHP? http://creationok.com/our-team/ Many thanks, ahead of time.
  8. I thought this would be a fairly simple task but for some reason I can't seem to target the right selector to remove the rounded corners of the Crackbar. Any help? Thank you! http://ashleylinares.com/aha
  9. Am I missing something, or is the Big Crack nonfunctional when used as a Fixed menu? I tried having the crackbar visible in both Fixed and Stanard mode. The Big Crack was working fine and dandy in standard mode, but nowhere to be seen in Fixed mode. EDIT: The title is wrong, supposed to be "No Big Crack in Fixed Menu?"
  10. Sorry another lame brain question no doubt. How do I change the color of the hover on the dropdown? No matter which color option I choose it always has the same blue background when hoover over a dropdown item. I've tried changing the colors using the user settings but I don't see an option for that instance. What am I missing? Thanks again GPro
  11. How do I insert an image in a Big Crack Dropdown. I found the shortcode you mentioned for links. It seems to work fine for me. Is there a shortcode for an image? Can I make an image clickable within the [ba-link] shortcode?
  12. Hi! I just recently bought Crackbar and I like it, specially the ability to change colours on the menu to my own liking after numerable hours on custom CSS that never worked. The thing is, I'm noticing that main parents or children links aren't clickable in mobile view. I do understand that parents, i.e. the top menu container was never cklickable if it had children, but is it the same with children and grandchildren? As I'm a child menu which has grandchildren is still clickable in Navbar, at least if you click on the > at the end of the row. Thanks
  13. NIck, I'm testing the following site now prior to launch. The URL: http://whub34.webhostinghub.com/~videoh6/brucetesting.com/ In IE8 the dropdown carats are not showing up. Is this something that you can fix? If not, is there a CSS fallback possible? Of course the client wants compatibility back to IE8. Thanks for any help you can offer with this.
  14. How do I change the menu depth for Crackbar? I know what files to edit for NavClassic and NavBar, but what file do I need to change for Crackbar? Also, is making a toggle for that in section options something quite complicated? I am not educated enough about this to know how tough it might be to incorporate an easy user interface for changing menu depth? Thanks. I am using NavBar on my test site currently, but here is my link jfspencer.staging.wpengine.com
  15. Dear Nick, I have a little problem with Crackbar - I see it has very few threads so in general it must be quite foolproof. It may well be just me. I discovered the utility of the Fixed Crackbar but am struggling to remove the Standard Crackbar. Now I have two Crackbars, one below the other. How can I remove or hide the Standard Crackbar? I have already "unselected" the theme and menu link for it but it remains stubborn. I am sure the solution is easy but I tried everything and cannot find it. Thank you for your help, yours faithfully, Jan.
  16. I tried adding scrollspy to a page with a fixed crackbar and it got hidden behind the crackbar once I scrolled down the page. If I used inspector and changed crackbar to display:none; then scrollspy was right there. However, I see scrollspy works fine with fixed navbar. http://demo.pagelines.me/tools/ is an example of it working.
  17. Firstly, Second-level items are appearing weirdly. I don't have any custom CSS, but on mobile devices the menu is displayed like this, using the simple Black transparent theme: Black text on almost black background. Not cool. Secondly, the demo displays the use of embedded videos and maps in the big crack. How can I display some material like this? Hardly by simply using the [ba-link-url] shortcode.
  18. problems installing crackbar

I had posted this previously but the issue got resolved, thank you!!
  19. Hello - since updating my menu to crackbar the upper level links are not working, they show a link to #m1, #m2, etc instead of the original page. Any ideas or help? Thanks GPro Site - www.garylipelt.com
