Widget icons missing/defaulted

Question

Posted · Report post

Hello, With the default installation of the iblog2 theme the side bar shows widgets such a categories, archive and these have little folder and date icons. When I add my own icons to the side bar for example categories the folder icons are replaced with bullet points. I tried but I can seem to find how to change these bullets to the folder icons as with the default side bar. Any help would be very much appreciated

I found how to change the icons for the sidebar widgets, you need to change the style.css and add new styles for the id of each widget like this #categories-3 ul li { background-image: url(images/icons/folder.png); background-repeat: no-repeat; background-position: 0 2px; you can find the id of each widget by adding one to the side bar then opening your blog and viewing the source, you can then find your widget id and then add/change it with the style sheet. If found how to do this here http://rubiqube.com/wordpress-tutorial-customizing-widgets-using-css/
