...it seems I need a zip file when uploading the plugins to GoDaddy. The files I received with my iBlog template don't appear to be zip files. Can I just use the zip file from the plugin site? Is it the same? Many thanks, Patricia patricia@golfgirlmedia http://www.golfgirlmedia.com

It is, which plugins were you looking for? Are you trying to install the plugin files through the WP plugin installer?

Yes I'm trying to install with the WP installer... and it works fine as long as it's a zip file. But the files that came with my template seemed to be ... like folders full of different items...but not zip files. So if the zip on the plugin site is the same I can use that, if not... I'm not sure what I'd do. Thanks, Patricia

if you can't find it by searching through wordpress, you can download the folder from the plugin site and compress it (usually when you right click on the folder, there's an option to zip/compress it in the menu)
