Where is page.php in Pagelines Framework?

Question

Posted · Report post

Hello,

I have installed the plugin "Multiple Post thumbnails" which requires some code to be added to "functions.php" file (which I've done) and also to the page template - which I can't find at all in the Pagelines editor.

Is there an equivalent that I'm missing?

Please help!

Many thanks.

Phil

HI Phil,

PageLines Framework isn't like your typical theme and therefore, if you want to include some snippet of code into a page, you're going to need to use a hook. You can find more information here - http://support.pagelines.me/docs/customization/hooks/

Hi Danny,

Where does the hook go? page.alpha.php? single.php?

It's not clear in the documentation.

All hooks both actions and filters always go in the child themes functions.php file. This information is mentioned on our docs.

What you're going to need to do is use your hook to position the code and then use some of the conditionals provided by WordPress to target a specific page.
