Media Management

I have some background images or patterns loaded into the WP Media Library.  I use these in DMS sections or components.  As far as I know this is a good way to handle these (best practices?).  For layouts I use the front-end design tool mostly (because it's awesome)...although occasionally I do build a quick page in the WP page.

When building a page in the front-end editor the assets don't show up as "attached" or uploaded to any page.  When doing very many pages or using many assets this can get a little confusing.  Is there a way to add what page the asset is attached too?

I do not believe you can do this currently but it is something i will look into.

I will also move this to ideas & Feedback so the developers can see this themselves.

Would like to have the facility to 'manage' media files as well. My site has a high image /media content with images often repeated on multiple pages.

I find myself uploading same images as unable to find original to attach to new page. Searching of media library will only allow scrolling thru 5 pages then will return blank result.

Being able to sort into files in library would be ideal.

Media library now totally unusable. All images appear but now 'show' button/link now gone.....

Using Photo Gallery from web-dorado.com, if library  for site images was the same as the Photo Gallery library this would be perfect as able to sort into files etc with ease......far more user friendly.
