This only appears in Safari not FF, so I can't use FireBug to tweak.

Hi Bob, What was your question? Which borders are unwanted? Safari has a tool like firebug built in. You can enable it by going to Safari Preferences, click the ???Advanced??? tab, and check the box marked ???Show Develop menu in menu bar??? at the bottom. You'll then get extra menu item in the Safari menu, called ???Develop???. From that menu select "Show Web Inspector" and you'll see a way inspect elements in your HTML just like in Firebug.

I actually don't want any border at all. I've gotten to the point where I was able to change the bg color of the menu items. Now in FF it looks like this:

And in Safari it looks like this:

And I want it to look like this:

I realize I may be able to get the fonts I want (Rockwell) so I may go with Google Fonts instead, but I think the rounded corners, no borders, and blue/black (inactive/active) bg's isn't asking too much, right? Any help is appreciated!

BTW thanks for the Safari tip. Most useful!
