This may need moved to the new feature request thread but is there a way or could we get a way to have a section "lock to top".  Meaning if I have a section say a with a fullwidth menu in it below a splash intro area on scroll I would like the menu to "lock to top" and stay visible.  This would be great for the social media sections/branding areas or really any section.

Also I'd love to see a menu that functions like the one on the flatten theme just be released for purchase as a stand alone menu.

Yes ubermenu does offer this I have used it before. There are some problems with it when using it with DMS.
The main problem I have ran into is when the plugin is active it pushes the WP admin bar to the bottom of the screen and the DMS editor disappears and is not visible until you describe the sticky menu addon.

@Danny,

Yes but not without some issues.  It would be great to have it as a component in DMS2.
