Hi again

Please, I´m not sure but you can give a try to this

.section-filtering .filtering .item .item-title h4 {
font-size: 80% !important;
}

Dear Ellen, I am trying to implement a solution you kindly gave me for a problem a few months ago: Changing the font size of an item title in Filtering. At the time I was just missing a selector (http://forum.pagelin...ing#entry194033). Your suggestion to add h4 as the title was wrapped in that worked at the time:

.section-filtering .filtering .item .item-title h4 {
font-size: 80%;
}

But now I cannot get it to work, whatever I try. I can change the font size in Chrome Inspect Element, but when I put the same selectors and qualities into DMS Custom CSS, nothing changes. I can address every other aspect, the image, the excerpt, the alignment of the title, but not its font size.

Have you got an idea where I might be going wrong? Was there a change in one of the updates? It's more likely to be me, I am still a good way away from CSS mastery...

Here is the instance, with large title font: http://animatinglibr...ess/?page_id=35

I am grateful for your help. Filtering is still brilliant, by the way!

Yours faithfully, Jan.

Hi @caspersjan

I use

/* TAMAÑO TEXTO FILTERING */
.h4-texto-filtering h4{ font-size: 16px;}

This work fine to me, and I love the Filtering too...

Hello Batman, thank you for your reply and suggestion. Unfortunately, .h4-texto-filtering h4{ font-size: 16px;} does not work on my site.I tried it on its own:

.h4-texto-filtering h4{ font-size: 16px;}

and where the old solution worked:

.section-filtering .filtering .item .item-title .h4-texto-filtering h4{ font-size: 16px;}

But no luck so far.  It's a mystery... But surely one that can be solved. Thanks again, greetings, Jan.

Batman, you are indeed a knight in shining armour! It's working now, the !important must have done the trick. Thank you so much for taking the time to help a stranger. The librarians will be delighted - now even the long names will fit! Yours faithfully, Jan.
